If I had $10,000 for each lb of American's over-weight we would be wealthy. Due to those extra pounds; America is putting a strain on Earth's gravitational pull which is why most American's think the world revolves around them.
Could not be further from the truth.
Some people I have spoken to say, because it is the last, too much emphasis, expectations and payloads have been put on this mission which could lead to a disaster. Let's hope not!
Good luck and as always, it is returning that is the hard part!
Let me start by saying every time you boot your system on Windows 7, data is sent to Microsoft to check whether your are online and for internet connectivity.
Now although you probably never gave it a second thought. NCSI is an active tool used by Microsoft to lead Boscovich to these comments.
I am not sure if this has been posted on/. before however this url http://blog.superuser.com/2011/05/16/windows-7-network-awareness maybe makes Boscovich feel all warm and fuzzy inside as they can do more with NCSI and cut out botnets. This can be defeated as in the URL above.
Being some kind of military person with more experience than the entire user database of dash slot. Learn one lesson..... always walk away from conflict and violence.
If you see muzzle flashes, then the rules of engagement has been broken. Commando's then unleash such fire power we do not care if your wife, children or pet gets hurt as collateral damage.
YOU SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT THAT BEFORE YOU STARTED THE FIGHT!
However you need it to be air pollution for it to be visible. Agricultural and mining pollution tends to be solid or liquid and so will not be so readily detected.
Remember the dark side is the fun side of the force, go get drunk smoke something and pick a fight with a Storm Trooper http://www.fluxradio.org/vader.mp3 ha ha ha
You're not alone. I'm the webmaster for several 501(c)3's, including one that I helped found, and everyone clamors for Drupal. I looked at the documentation on 4 or 5 occasions and said "No thanks, I'll roll my own much more quickly"
Drupal is crappy and so is WordPress, it is being constantly hacked the problem is chmod. If you think it is going to go away think again PHP safe on is a must, geo location is also important, if you do not understand the basics you have no business.
Either in amplitude or PCM. Neutrinos interact with matter even less than Electromagnetic waves.
Exactly - so why would you want to use them to communicate?
High level of thought is faster than the speed of light. Einstein wrote about this as a high level communication, but as we are stuck in a world of "closed minds". Unless something can be proven physically which thought is not..... it is dismissed as bullshit. Welcome to the world of closed minds.....Beam me up scotty!
Having worked with a few Special Agents to break an international paedophile ring a few years ago, I can say from experience, the F.B.I have very few agents well equipped and extremely clued up. I was lucky to get in touch with the right special agents, although I hit a complete brick wall beforehand with agents who's mission in life was "COFEE and donuts" excuse the cofee joke http://www.microsoft.com/industry/government/solutions/cofee/default.aspx
The same is of Scotland Yard and the Metropolitan Police, who have people in IT that are complete idiots. At the end of this investigation, I only got a thank you off one senior special agent and Scotland Yard just completely blanked me. The officers from the Metropolitan Police decided to take all the credit for my hard work.
If it was not for Special Agent Daniels, my faith in helping out as a hacker would have been eroded many years ago.
The botnet owners can't take preventative action against the uninstall because they don't have valid Command and Control servers running. Since the FBI is controlling those at the moment, the individual bots are hanging in limbo doing nothing. If however the malware is actively looking for new C&C servers to be spun up to receive commands again, there is the potential that the FBI could lose control again. Hence why it is necessary to remove the infection while they maintain control, and only one step in their strategy to cripple the botnet.
It is the FBI's computers that became infected by a CIA experiment gone wrong.
In WWII, every single letter sent internationally was routed through stations where the letters were steamed open and read for 'subversive' information. The simple fact is that if the government wants to spy on you, they will. They have for a couple hundred years, why should they stop now?
It is because governments are so paranoid. Just remember everyone is out to get you! I read a SECRET INTERNAL report recently that states, all the info-gathering cannot be fully processed and secret services world-wide are just overloaded with information which will take 30 years to fully analyse based on current info-gathering standards.
The report is highly critical of International Intelligence Services, damning most data into insignificance and stupidity. You all have the right to be cynical and or pessimistic, but the fact still remains, if you come into the governments limelight... no justice will be honest and fair.
Ever since the world ended up going hell bent on terrorism laws (New World Order), all wire-tapping is legal with or without a warrant and you do not require any special permissions anymore if you work in law enforcement and a telecoms company need not know either.
The erosion of liberties guaranteed to you in the US Constitution as a result of the War on Terrorism simply pales in comparison to what you've surrendered due to the War on Drugs and the War on Poverty.
Nuclear fission at least has the advantage of having reusable fuel, since significant amounts of fissionable material can be created in breeder reactors, or recovered from waste.
The fuel is not reusable. Once the nucleus has fissioned it is gone. You can breed more with a neutron source but ultimately it is a limited resource because it is a "fossil" fuel - you are releasing energy stored from the supernova which preceded the creation of the solar system.
To return to the original topic though censoring even inaccurate data like this is stupid because it will make people doubt the accuracy of official information. A better law would be to require any incidents of inaccurate reporting to include a link or text with the accurate information and then let people see for themselves. This is different from something like yelling "fire" in a crowded area because people have time to think before they act and so hysteria should not occur because there is opportunity to refute stupid arguments. If damage to commerce is caused then sue the idiot who posted the inaccurate information for libel. This is a system which has worked acceptably for decades/centuries, why should Fukushima be any different that the countless other disasters before it?
Ever since the world ended up going hell bent on terrorism laws (New World Order), all wire-tapping is legal with or without a warrant and you do not require any special permissions anymore if you work in law enforcement and a telecoms company need not know either.
It is better known as black boxing http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_box these systems have been in place since 1998 legally. The FBI changed it's code name from Carnivore to Magic Lantern after a bunch of hackers exposed the source code "cult of the dead cow" If I remember correctly.
The simple fact is you can be recorded for any half plausible excuse. Getting your location through a cell network takes about 5 seconds...... sadly each persons privacy is eroded and you do not have any choice.
Don't use Credit Cards, Cell Phones, Loyality Cards or the internet. Get out more and a pen and paper works better than spoken words!
The only point I ever saw for them was the coolness factor. That was back in the 1980s, though.
Cool was having a top-of-the-line log-log slide rule with leather case. I had a Pickett 500 until some asshole stole it out of the biochem lab. Then I moved up to a to K+E log-log decitrig. That was back in the 1960s, though. Get off my lawn.
I had a slide calculator too! Glad to see I am not alone, but we were never allowed technology when I was in school in exams apart from Log Tables in Mathematics. You had to do everything in your head. No wonder people are kids of today are brain dead. Call it genetically modified technology!
They wont care about this at all. They are not going after Geohot because he used his PS3 as a paperweight, they are going after him because they claim he altered the embedded software running on the PS3 and redistributed it illegally.
This is my understanding, so add a pinch of salt to taste.
I see your point. however if one buys a computer with windows OEM pre-installed, there is no legal comeback if you install Linux on it or BSD. It is your machine. The lesson to be learned here is he should have released it under the GPL first as it is Linux and open source. Either which way you look at it, SONY does not have a leg to stand on legally.
What SONY are doing is clearly illegal locking you in to closed source software. I am sure this case will not go away. Just to add some pepper to your salt to taste;-)
And after you do it to one, you can buy another! and torture that to death!
Take that Sony!!
Maybe after you've bought like 50 Sony will finally give in! In fact I'm sure they will be so sad, they will be sure to give you a free copy of God of War 7 and pray you wont burn that on your extremely popular viral Youtube channel in front of your whole audience...
Well I have just bought one and am picking it up in a few hours. I have a really nice BBQ outside... I will get some charcoal whilst I am at it and say sorry I do not want to pay for an extended warranty. Take it back fired to a crisp and say have you ever heard of spontanoeus combustion? Must have been the firmware that did it and get constant replacements under the sale of goods law.
After a while they will get bored and then I can blame it on a BAD batch of machines!!!!!! The money is worth it for entertainment value, but hang on isn't that what SONY's key business is?
<quote><p>Now, I'm going to flip this on you a bit: You've been hurting from the gasoline prices lately, yes? Pretty much everybody is.</p></quote>
<p> Sorry to burst your bubble but, according to <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tesla_Roadster">wikipedia</a> the battery pack for the Tesla model in question costs $36k and has a lifetime of 100k miles which is 36 cents/mile travelled to which you can add about 3 cents/mile in electricity costs (86kWh per full charge at 200 miles/charge and assume 7 cents/kWh). Current US petrol prices seem to be <a href="http://www.eia.doe.gov/oil_gas/petroleum/data_publications/wrgp/mogas_home_page.html">about $3.55 per US gallon</a> so for a petrol car to have the same fuel costs as the Tesla it would need to have a fuel consumption worse than 9.1 miles per gallon...which is about comparable to <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hummer_H2#Fuel_economy">a hummer</a>.
So, unless the cost of petrol gets very significantly higher (by x3-4) or the cost of batteries drops considerably the fuel cost of an electric vehicle is significantly higher than a petrol driven one. I wish that were not the case but sadly, for now, it is.</p></quote>
A defence case is quite easy against SONY. Once you buy a PS3 it is your property and you can do with it what you like and SONY does not have a leg to stand on.
I might even buy a PS3 and make a movie just for the hell of it and put it on you tube. First I will torture it in a microwave, connect a car battery to it and fry it's brains (Electric Chair) then smash it into pieces with a hammer and set it on fire.
Well if I decide to buy one, I own it. The you tube video would go viral!
Basically if the entire world blew up and my house fell down I have enough kit to help at least 4 people survive without any trouble whatsoever. Mind you I am trained in Arctic/Desert/Jungle so I can live in extreme circumstances and have kit always there.
Like Ray Mears I know my beans so if you really want to know how to survive, get someone highly qualified to take you out to the wilderness with just the clothes you are wearing for two days. Learn off the bushmen, tribesmen, aboringinal's, indian's etc. If in the USA go to Montana and stick it out or a winter in Yellowstone National Park.
I have been all over the world and learned key skills and very highly trained in a Military sense. and yes Rambo is a pussy, so go to West Virginia and learn some phat skills with the Navy Seals.
Have fun, learn and then realise a lot of things you have in life for comfort means nothing. Happy hunting!
