Fox has a history of killing shows with a great fan "buzz" but don't seem to capture the audience Fox believes they deserve (see : Family Guy pre-cancellation, Arrested Development). This pilot really reminds me of Arrested Development in its satire, and I wouldn't be surprised if the creator named AD as a creative influence. While AD had a very devoted audience, they couldn't avoid being cancelled. I think that this show would suffer the same fate as AD if Fox would be the ones picking it up.

That's exactly the point. If it's "a simple question that has a simple answer" you can look up yourself, then why don't you just.. look it up yourself?

So if you just want fact, rather than opinion... why the hell wouldn't you just check out Verizon's website on your own?
Rather than look it up for you, here's some help. Their site is http://www.verizonwireless.com/ and the streaming video is part of VCast.
Feel free to peruse the rest of the internet while you're at it.
Emm. He gives a roundabout number from 300 to 400 Euros (HUGEly roundabout) and you do your conversions to 4 significant digits each? Wow, SOMEONE missed those high school chem/physics lectures about significant digits.
If he really wanted approval of the/. community, he could have used a REAL actress, and done us trolls a favour with Physical ASCII of Natalie Portman. (And if she were to be naked & petrified, I sure as hell wouldn't complain.)
They should have used a slot-loaded optical drive instead of the tray. It would be less of a jump for people to grep if it was more like a regular car cd-player.
Heh. I say this all the time already. Sure, I really want to see movies like "Monsters, Inc" and whatnot, but why bother in the theater when it's $8.75 per person per showing. If I just wait, for double that I can have unlimited amounts of people watching it (well, kinda. Within Fair Use, at least), and unlimited viewings, with a far better atmosphere, better seats, and extra DVD-only things. All I sacrifice is a wait.
I feel so old, Quake II is the only one of the Quake series that I truly enjoyed. Quake I had a dark feel, the kind that a 3AM session with the sound up (especially the subwoofer) would scare the hell out of you, but crappy multiplayer. Quake III had this ultra-modern feel that was just a bit too smooth for me. Quake II was a nice combination of both, especially since the multiplayer kicked ass.
Now at least I don't have to have a pirated version of QII (*cough*).
The important question was, do these ninjas eat pancakes? I have no respect for any ninja that does not eat pancakes, for pancakes are the staple of the proper ninja diet. The rest of us will have to suffice with hot grits (down our pants, no less).
Wow, all the ideas going through my head are just amazing me. Thieves could use this to see if someone's in a house, and slashdotters could use it to broadcast live porn!

Better yet, Slashdot's IPO should be at the top :)
A brave new one.
Is it just me, or was anyone else hesitant to click that link? "goatse.cx? no, i guess it's gotapex.com"...
Details, details. This is slashdot, remember?
Dude, do you want a MORE obvious troll? Jeez!

Just a thought.
You forgot all the "Noise 11" type names too. Quite a few parodies of that guy. (He's on Kuro5hin now, right?)
As seen on Plastic : An alternative view of Black Hawk Down.

Is it just me, or haven't these 1GB drives been out for a *while* now? It's not like this is a review of something that *just* came out...

If you post at a lower score, you should be prohibited from being moderated up. People will just use it to karma whore...

We want good groping functionality in Gnome. Thank god that Pornzilla is nearing 1.0!

Sega. Well, their hardware business, at least.
Not built in, but there are plenty of plug-ins for winamp that do that. Don't have links, but I've done it in the past.

Won't that slow it down, by making it pass over some sort of bridge, though?
Now what's a compelling reason to own one, again?
