    I tried it once, but the motor oil stained my clothes. I never asked the mechanic again for body work.

    It's not 1981 anymore, the entire right half of the keyboard isn't that heavy... Imagine doing this with an old school IBM keyboard. I'll just save my money to get one of these IBM keyboards, though.

    You know, as much as I'd like to believe that "in Muslim countries women aren't leered at and treated as sex objects," it's not true. I'm in a muslim country (Pakistan) and I am muslim, but hey, it's a lot more idealistic to think that women aren't. I don't really have a point, but I'd just like to clear that up. On a side note, a large percentage of women in the west that convert to Islam previous to conversion considered themselves "feminist". They appreciate how after they started covering their hair and dressing more modestly, they weren't treated as cattle.

    So I was reading some magazine, don't know which one, and I saw an interesting picture. Basically, it's a cool ass riding lawnmower. The inventors took one of those nasty ass "Smart Cars", and put this laser spiel underneath it. I have no proof that I saw this, but I assure you I did. (I'd try to find links, but I'm at an internet cafe, and time is money, apparently.)

    My mother takes two 14+ hour flights (NYC to Pakistan, and back) every two months or so. (Retired).

    My brother takes 2-3 hour flights every Monday and every Friday. (Consultant).

    Some people it's relavant, eh? Plus, the internets a nice way to make a 14 hour flight seem a helluva lot less.

    Most of Napster's traffic is due to trading of illegal MP3s. Justify it however you want, the record companies have their interests to protect.

    I got started with Linux in 1993 using a distribution called SLS. I started Debian later that year, and have been using Debian ever since. So, I guess that makes SLS my second-favorite distribution.

    You know, I was in NY once, listening to some radio station, and on the news they said one guy was arrested for animal abuse. Apparently he killed three sheep by what is suggested in your title.

    It's people like you that are perpratrators of animal abuse. PETA -- everyone mocks them, but I am now in more support of them than ever.

    Peer pressure is not a joke, people. This isn't jumping off a bridge, this is violating innocent sheep.

    Score -1, Flamebait? Maybe. I know I'd like to use Gnutella a lot, but I end up using Napster (or, well, ended up -- past tense, now) because it was a lot quicker. Maybe at least I'll find more MP3s on Napster.

    Not to all those people that aren't very computer literate. Not so long after Napster came out, I had all these random people that had never heard of MP3s before asking me what MP3s & Napster were.

    Most of those people don't know Gnutella & CuteMX exist. This is bigger than you make it out to be.

    When there was a discussion about slot loading small CDs & DVDs before, (when the Sony Mavica camera with the 3" CD was brought up), the site that was linked to had a picture of "special expander donuts". If you had one handy, you'd be set.

    To answer your question of what happens if you stack 3 inches of paper on top of the PowerMacCube -- It automatically shuts off if it gets too hot in the cube.
