    What kind of advantage does a faster CPU/GPU give?

    If your system meets the minimum requirements (display/movement is not lagging) the only difference high-end hardware makes is prettyness. (Not saying that prettyness is not important, just not a competitive advantage.)

    1. This update gets installed if you are in the EU and use XP or later.
    2. If you have IE as default browser, this site opens at the next login, or when you click on the icon the update puts on your desktop (like this).

    Hopefully this will help standards compliant browsers gain some marketshare. (Not that my country needs much help. :P)

    220/380V was the old voltage standard in some parts of Europe before it got "harmonized" to 230/400V

    With recent driver versions if you put an ATI card in your machine next to a nVidia one PhisX gets disabled.

    The Nokia N900 is an ARM CPU phone that runs Maemo OS which is based on Debian Linux that runs PearPC which is a PowerPC emulator that runs Apple OS X 10.3 which is Darwin which is BSD.

    Well according to Wikipedia they reprocess it, and the waste of several other countries too.
    The not reusable stuff gets sent back to the originating countries, the domestic stuff will go to underground storage when it is completed.

    Me too. I hate the IE8 ribbon. I cannot find anything in that ribbon.

    You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

    The same about "Show Desktop" button in Windows. In Windows-7 they moved it into the right corner. I have laptop with Windows-7 for couple of month but I still cannot get accustomed to this. I prefer working on my Vista machine.

    You prefer trying to hit a small button instead of smashing your cursor to the bottom right corner?

    Whenever I move the cursor over it my windows collapse suddenly. And I think that the computer crashed.

    What else do you expect a "show desktop" button to do?
    (Besides, you can right-click on it and deselect the preview option.)

    I think this has a bigger chance of happening than the LHC black hole. (Not sure about the flying ass-monkeys though.)
