There are a lot of YouTube videos of Toyota owners trying brake-against-full-throttle and shift-to-neutral-at-full-speed, and it works every time. Modern cars have rev limiters.
Why is a patch that gets completed, tested and signed off on the (for example) 20th of a month and sits on some server till it is released next Patch Tuesday more secure/stable than one that gets released on the 20th?
The long term plans for Firefox Sync include arbitrary addon provided data (like settings or Adblock filter list) and installed addon/theme syncing, so I probably will switch eventually. The sync feature will be included in a future Firefox release (I think 4?).
Will Apple support VP8 in Safari? (and Safari Mobile?)
Wont put money on this one, given lord Jobs' dislike of Open Source. If they don't it will only be shooting themselves in the foot.
If Google phases out h264 support on the HTML5 version of Youtube, Jobs has to choose between supporting an open video standard in Safari or endorse Flash if he wants users to be able to use Youtube! I bet his head will explode!
TECHNICIAN: Next. Joe steps up. The Technician holds up three probes connected to the diagnostic machine. TECHNICIAN: Okay. This one goes in your mouth. Joe tentatively opens his mouth. The technician puts it in. TECHNICIAN: This one's for your ear. The technician sticks a second probe in Joe's ear. TECHNICIAN: And... This one goes in your butt. The technician hands Joe a third probe. Joe looks at it reluctantly, hesitates a beat, then looks at the line of 20 people staring at him. GUY IN LINE: Hurry UP ASSHOLE!!! Joe unhappily puts the plug up his butt. TECHNICIAN: Shit, wait a second. The Technician pulls all three plugs out and stupidly fumbles with the identical cables. TECHNICIAN: Okay, one goes in your... No, wait a second... Joe tries to follow the one that was in his butt like three card monte, but it's a lost cause. The technician stops shuffling the probes. TECHNICIAN: Okay. This one goes in your mouth. Joe stares in horror as the Technician brings the probe closer to his mouth. Joe hesitates. GUY IN LINE: COME ON!!!

Maybe it is a subtle reminder that the Xbox 360 can run Xbox games, unlike certain other consoles :)

They're deprecating the old API, and the new "JetPack" API isn't fully implemented yet, let alone deployed. That's a killer mistake.

Oddly enough that doesn't work in "view source" mode.
A fix for that is already in the nightly trunk builds.
