The problem is one of the "slippery slope" variety however. While one can with fair reasonableness assert that the general public shouldn't have plans for WMDs, once put into law the definition of WMD would expand over time to include anything and everything that can be used to maintain the balance of power between government and governed.
60 tons is a modern tank. Considering a mech is supposed to make tanks look like toy cars you're talking more like 600 tons minimum. If you assume the weight savings come from advanced materials, why not just use those materials on a tank? Besides, I prefer to mount three Clan AC-20's, fire linked in the torso of a Daishi with no arms.
Being a three wheeled vehicle it would be licensed as a motorcycle, therefore it is not a car. Would you call it a flying motorcycle or flying trike? Perhaps, unless you look at the design lineage. Does it look like they started with a motorcycle or trike concept and modified it to make it fly? I don't think so; it looks much more like they started with a gyrocopter design and modified it to allow it to drive on roads. That makes it a roadable gyrocopter, not a flying car. That's besides the fact that anyone's concept of a flying car involves taking off out of the garage or from the curb, rather than wheeling it to the airport before beginning to fly. Think Starwars landspeeder; that's a flying car. It's basically a standard convertible, but with some sort of hovering mechanism instead of wheels.
So, any vehicle which has as its primary mode of transport to drive on land is a car? I would also question your assumption that its primary mode of transport is on land. What if you fly it more than you drive it? I certainly would if I had one; it's far too expensive and fragile for driving around on a regular basis.
You could pay for it by televising it.
...particular arrangement of quarks...
I see what you did there.
Would you find that at the Medusa Cascade?
Actually it is. It just runs on a biological multi-core system.
Yes: http://www.technologyreview.com/blog/arxiv/27625/
It's a shame mods max at 5.
AC because you modulated? I thought we were talking DC.

Would data compression be considered tax evasion?
The law enforcement agency said... that it expects this type of fraud to spread across the country...
Especially now that the vulnerabilities have been announced.
You can bet the legislation for this was lobbied for by the company that would supply and install them.
Very much like they find any excuse to link everything to interstate commerce to circumvent the tenth amendment.

Here's a list of hydrogen sponges: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrogen_storage#Chemical_storage
Hmm, a hydrogen sponge... Like formic acid?
You sure use that "acme of" phrase a lot. Remember that article on identifying anonymous posters based on their verbiage?
Some dealers have even claimed the tax credit themselves, rather than letting the buyer do it.
Indeed. Let us know so that we can not use them.
Well at least you got SOMETHING to date you. Hey, that reminds me, I need to get a mini for my new character for this weekend!
I find the weather on Slashdot to be quite satisfactory.
It's merely that their cooking has no depth.
And the second half of my post?

Of course you can. This is just another in a long line of roadable aircraft.
