Health Insurance, next to Wall Street is the biggest running scam right now in the US. Even if you do have corporate insurance, it is typically so bad, if you lost it you wouldn't be that much worse off anyway.

Half the time the plans don't pay for services they say they do, and if you do manage to get a claim from them, they will find a way to not renew your insurance.

Nothing ever in life will be a set of facts, from a contrived problem sitting there waiting for you to solve.

What we need is to get rid of test and exams, and replace them with peer review works or work based on merit on the college level so that your peers, your combined works on a topic of field, are recognized as a body of knowledge produced and of high enough quality for you to be granted a degree, by your peers.

In this context, you will be given projects to do, or work on with your peers, and then you will defend them with questions from your peers about your work. Typically these would be projects that look at unsolved problems in computer science (if you think your really above average.)

    1) More of the US will become like Detroit, Mich. Mainly looking like a bombed out third world country.

    2) Universities. Hey this is a prediction: Universities are next on the chopping block. Over priced, and under powered, American Universities are about to go the way of the do do bird.

The big "University" crashes will come in the next 5 years as the powers that be (Foreign Banks under direction of the Federal Reserve) finish gutting the financial system of the US. University campuses will probably be converted to low income housing "projects" developments for the poor, who are growing by leaps and bounds.

10 Years from now the wealthy will be sending their kids to China to learn Chinese, and to do research or get a job there. The rest of you poor bastards will end up working in a government job, or out on the streets in the projects where massive unrest will be common.

The fastest growing job is going to be in the "goon" squads the government hires to keep all of the mass unrest from getting out of control.
(Luckily since the demise of the University system, you don't need a degree to be a goon, just naivety and loyalty to the government.)

So being a government goon wielding a baton is going to be a BIG growth industry.

    3) The US Dollar. Wow, what a huge crash that one is going to be. In the next 5-10 years the US dollar will no longer be a reserve currency. The powers that be won't let it crash all at once of course, they will most likely do a controlled demolition. (Mainly to protect their own assets in the USA.)

They already have started the process using deflation so that those on the top have time to sell their US securities at a decent price before the next phase hits. That will probably come this summer with a huge financial crisis with the banks _again_.

Not sure what excuse they will use this time, last time it was because _the little people where to blame for borrowing money_. My guess is it will be something to do with commercial real estate.

Doesn't matter really, because all of you poor bastards are going to pay, and YOU WILL PAY whatever the Fed decides it wants for its cronies.

Each and every American owes 80,000 dollars. You WILL pay this debt off or your grand kids will...but it WILL be paid.

The end result will be lots of poor and impoverished people with big rolls of money in their pockets looking into super market windows lusting at all of the food on the shelves, but too poor to buy anything except maybe butter and a little bit of flour.
(They won't be breaking those windows because the goons will be out in force on most street corners and businesses.)

    4) Bombs. Wow this will be a cottage industry. 10 Years from now I see bombs going off all over the place. Washington DC will be transformed into a fortress with most of the government buildings moved or removed from the public eyes so they can't be hit by "terrorists" (i.e. People who are wondering why they have been robbed by the banks and have decided the political system doesn't work anymore and resort to violence to change it by assassinations on corporate and government leaders.)

I mean already all 10 heads of the Federal Reserve have private high tech militarys guarding their homes and families. All of them live in closed gated and heavily defended communities.

I wonder what they are afraid of? They couldn't possibly doing something illegal or criminal and are afraid of retribution could they?

LINUX is a OS kernel, it is not all of the driver packages that come with it, many of which as pointed out here are not GPL'ed.

Lastly, lots of applications have been pointed out here that are not GPL which form the plumbing of the corporate internet in which I speak of, tis true.

I think that the statement it proves evolutionary theory is a bit, strong.

The are issues with evolutionary theory, and I think people get confused about certain things like, a species ability to adapt to its environment, is that it fails to explain how a completely different species evolves, number one.

For example, Polar Bears, which yes due to climate change (Man made or otherwise...) are losing their environment, are adapting by interbreeding with Grizzily bears and producing offspring. This is happening because the Polar bears are forced to move south because of lack of Icepak.

Certain ideas about them being seperate species are about to shatter some of the ideas of evolutionary theory, but like a lot of evidence due to climate change, it is being surpressed or just tossed out because it doesn't support the idea species change can only happen in a said species, not by interbreeding between "species".

Secondly, it is not clear even from a biological point of view how a new complex system can arise by random chance, such as developing an entirely different organ for example in a very gradual way. We already know how intricate DNA is, and the instructions to build cellular organs number in the billions of proteins. How all 1 billion of those proteins arose by chance over time is a huge problem for evolutionary proponents. Not just mathematically speaking, but no mechnism in biochemistry has been pointed out so far, that would allow for random variations in biochemisty to produce anything but proteins or instruction which kill the organism outright.

Third and finally, there are certain things about the theory that the laws of thermodynamics seem to be in violation, particularly entropy which states systems move from complexity to simplicity, not the other way around.

Something odd is going on with life, for sure.

As we learn more about life, the case of how life works gets even more odd.

I don't believe in the "religion" of evolutionary theory, and I think it has held back science for a century in making any real progress in the basic questions in biochemistry, which if you do not tow the line your papers don't get published or funded.

I wrote back and said I am interested to learn about the hardware as long as I don't have to sign a non disclosure agreement and it wasn't a broadcom device which if it was no need to reply.

    Haven't heard anything.

Wireless is a sticking point with me. Everyone knows what goes on with wireless stuff. Especially when dealing with Broadcom devices on linux. Closure of the hardware gets me very angry, and I started shouting about the crap that happens behind the scenes between Microsoft's licensing of wireless and companies that provide or even hint at opening their drivers. Essentially Microsoft will threaten or imply the drivers API may or may not change and arbitrarily not including them in the installation process for Windows out of the box.

The second thing I do not like about not sharing information, whether it is to lock in markets like broadcom and microsoft alliance tries to do, or why wireless N took 5 years to approve, or JUST PLAIN F'IN GOOD OLE AMERICAN CORPORATE GREED, you basically end up with bad products.

So is it not anyones surprise, that just like trying to use a closed wireless hardware device and be all secretive and crap, you get crappy working devices, likewise you close climate research or research in general, you get crappy research.

In this case, research with a purpose to keep scientists busy by buying their silence, while you use the results of the work to establish a nefarious world wide governmental bureaucracy, to make trillions.

Meanwhile, people will die by the millions, which I sometimes wonder if Copenhagen meetings real issue they discuss is population control.

As history demonstrates, the most dangerous times to live in is when a Empire, particularly a bankrupt one is losing power.

To shore up the losses, at first legions of goon squads will become quite common place as those will be the best jobs.
(I love the propaganda on the "goon mobiles" or public police squad cars. I watched one video where one officer beat a unarmed mentally deficient man while the other tasered him with the Camera in one "Goon Mobile" capturing the side of the other "Goon Mobile" that had "Protect Honor Public Safety" written on it.)

I think Bugs Bunny said it best: "What a Maroon!"

Don't fight the Goon...at least not yet. Wait till the Empire is sufficiently weakened to the point where even the goons don't hold any loyalty or they are forced to shoot or incarcerate their own mothers or children.

Then you know its time to organize as time will be on your side.

But until then, your going to get run over, beaten, electrocuted or even Microwaved to a slow simmer so don't resist the goon squad.
