I have a OnePlus 6 and I was having issues with applications getting killed in the background. Most frustratingly was when my couch to 5K app got task killed with about 45 seconds left at the end of my run. But guess what? In the settings menu you can disable battery optimization for specific apps. Haven't had a problem since.
In school I never understood or tolerated bullying and I was bullied quite a bit. General strategy was to verbally goad the bully into throwing the first punch. I was tall for my age and obese, I usually mopped the floor with them. Fat guy strength is a thing. That generally brought a solid end to the bullying; at least for a good while and never again from the same source. I graduated a few years before MySpace. So when I went home, the whole horrible drama of high-school ended and I could just dial my friends' pagers and play Diablo 2. It was such a relief sometimes to get home. I dreaded going to school but I had a sanctuary at the end of each day.
These days it's zero tolerance. Moves I made to thwart bullying would get me expelled in today's schools. It doesn't stop people from being assholes. For these kids the day to day pressure of dealing with social clicks, bullying, being judged, being different, feeling awkward, not fitting in, measuring up... it never ends. They leave the school then go to their screens and it just keeps. on. going. I guess it always did, but at least I didn't have to watch it play out in slow motion on the Internet.
How can we get people to just follow Bill & Ted's advice?
If you are listening on a cheap [pair of headphones, laptop speaker, dollar store speaker brick, factory car speakers] that anything over 128kbps mp3 sounds pretty much identical.
Depending on the angle and where the zombie was in the animation, it could look a little like they are tossing their asses... closest I could find:

At the very least, these programs could help highlight the children that have natural ability and/or interest early on. This way, once identified, they will have the opportunity to get the deeper education they need to go on and be successful in a CS related field.
First real game I played on the Internet was the first Quake (via 14.4 modem) and I was immediately blown away by exactly *how much* I sucked. My first instinct was to find a way to cheat to win. It hit me then.. the reason I sucked is because I never actually learned to play. I always just cheated. I swore off cheats entirely and stuck with it. Along with getting tons better; I feel like it could have saved me some grief.
Seems like a bit of a catch 22... on one hand the people that own these systems need a reliable and safe way to understand and hopefully mitigate threats... on the other hand, it wasn't too long ago people were bemoaning flight simulators as "terrorism trainers".
Typing on a gamepad sucks. Period. That said, the typing mechanism in Steam for the gamepad sucks considerably less than anything else I've tried (post learning curve).

..maybe they could also roll back all rounded rectangles they added in v69. Everything is so round it feels like I designed it in my basement.
My Oneplus 6 was $579. You can still have both.
I am the only one that doesn't connect to an access point that I'm not familiar with?

When I first read Ready Player One, I didn't think it was going to be such a prophecy. Where's my UberBetty?

All 12 of the remaining BB customers will be thrilled, I'm sure.

I guess Kevin Mitnick and his ilk have taught them nothing.
Not a single graph on any of those links...
This just completely shattered my illusions of Elon Musk as a real life Tony Stark.

This is the best news I've read in a while. Congrats dude. I'm guessing we all know where you now stand in the future eugenics vs cybernetics debate.
