    Not really - the game remains exactly the same... it just gets "prettier" when you pop it into the XBox "720".

    The onus (real word ??) to improve and change the game then falls onto the model rather than the graphics.

    Well, it wouldn't be "upgraded" (regardless of what the text of the topic states. The gfx would just be rendered differently (i.e. better) by the new hardware.

    Simply "remove" rules with arbitrary exceptions:

    - "i before e except after c"
    - "AN historical event"
    - overloaded words for instance "bear"

    That sort of thing.

    Don't go overboard on phonetics... but lets face it "phonetics" should be spelled "fonetics". Eliminate silent letters.

    Just take baby steps. E-Prime was a pretty neat idea.

    Having driven this route several times, I can assure you that you are wrong.

    ASIDE from Denver (and the endpoints of your little tour as I assume sitting in traffic in Ontario CA and Joliet count too) you can sit motionless in Omaha, Vegas, Vail (in ski season AND summer), Lincoln, and Des Moines.

    Hell I even got stuck in a jam near Zion Nat Park once.

    And eventually, America is left behind because we no longer have people who can afford anything as all of our ecomony has been sold, surplanted, and out sourced... but in 50 or so years we will be a heft pool of cheap lobar and I guess the process reverses itself. Too bad the savings from cheap Chinese labor are turned into corporate profit rather than savings for the consumer.

    God knows we need more plasma TV's and Xboxes.

    While I would love to agree with you, I have to regretfully point out the fact that we long ago handed virtually any manufacturing capability to the Chinese and now have no choice but to buy from them and hope that they continue to fund our debt.

    However, they don't really have a choice anymore in the debt funding dept. They have to in order to insure the viability of their own investments.

    House of cards? Or is it a house of cheap plastic goods, motherboards, and US govt issued bonds? Either way....
