If you ever want to get revenge on a spammer and they have a 1-800 number just get yourself the following
A piece of blackpaper Sellotape
Place the blackpaper into the fax machine and sellotape to make a tube.
Enter the number and hit send
All the other end will receieve it page after page of black printout. It might be an urban legend but apparently there was one type of fax machine that would overheat and catch fire if this was done to it
One of the things to remeber is that the people you are aiming for might not be techincal. Just because product X can do "this nice geeky thing" most people won't care. They want something that works quick and well.
Also any websites should be about the person, what the product can do for them. Not about the company.
Well from a few friends who use to work at SCO in the Dublin call center is that quite a few people have walked out over the Linux/SCO fiasco. So it looks like its hurting sco as well
For me it has to be ROTK. In all the other films there were a lot of stages where the effects looked wrong. In ROTK the only scene I thought that was where Frodo was running into the enterance of mount doom. Beyond that you couldn't tell (within the reasons of physics)
Well d00d I got this l33t tool called t3ln3t. I connected to other people computers and got things like "SSH-1.99-OpenSSH_3.7.1p2". The 0th3r kidi33s were like. "D00D!!". I was like w0ah. I am so l33t
Not trying to be flamebate but is there any reason someone has taken time to write new drivers for hardware that is 6 years old. I can understand legacy code, which is why linux will still boot on a 386 however this just seems a bit off. Is this bit of hardware really that good?
Well there are also the Genesis Emulators, SNES Emulators and um more emulators. Of course not sure if there have been any major game releases apart from things like Quake3. Ever since Loki went under its been a bit quiet
Its going to get a bit friendly unless you've got a big monitor on a low res allowing everyone to see. Of course 4 person TuxRacer would be fun but I don;t think its supported
Netscape was revived with opensourcing. Prehaps Reak will extend their program and allow there formats to become more open and maybe get deeper market penatration
After having the hell of actually installing Real and finding it dug itself deep and made the system about 20% slower I just went pack to WinAmp 2. Smaller, lighter and it works
Well looking over the patent it doesn't seem to cover ISO images so if worst comes to worst all you have to do is get an ISO image and then distribute that via FTP or similar. On the client side just have a cd emulator that opens it and read it
I've only come across one truly unlimited ISP and that is Demon in the UK. Using their Premier Plus for a signtificant monthly fee you do get 24x7x365 access on ISDN only.
Its not cheap but you do get your moneys worth for those who can't get broadband
Hes an engineer so he will, like most of us spend 20 hours writing something when he could do it in 10 with someone else code or in 5 if doing it manually

For the actual DV you might want to look at Kino as its a stable editor for raw DV footage

http://www.homepc.org/ looks like a dynamic DNS service. I bet all the requests caused the user to get dumped.
