So, I went to the link to read TFA, and realized that the TFS isn't a summary at all. It's just a copy/paste of the entire blog post with the line breaks taken out. It's amazing what constitutes "New for Nerds, Stuff that Matters" these days...
Apple decided to allow devices to use serial over the dock connector in February 2010. Why does the summary list it as a "little known secret"? It's hardly a secret that the dock connector which uses USB communicates via a serial connector. That's what the S stands for in USB, btw.
The Mayans never claimed to have predicted the end of the world... This is not majorly different than rolling over from December 31st to January 1st, except it happens less often.
I'm pretty sure that video broke 2-3 patents that were just granted to Apple. Apple should totally sue them and take 10% of their revenue from selling downloads of Ub... Nevermind.
So, you say there are only 7 big cats, and then proceed to list 6 of them. What's the seventh???
You didn't technically list Panther (10.3), which is the Genus of Jaguar (10.2), Tiger (10.4), Leopard (10.5), and Lion (10.7).
If we're allowed to use the Genus, we can still have Acinonyx (10.8), Uncia (10.9), and Neofelis (10.10). Unfortunately Puma was already used for 10.1 (but not Cougar, which is in the Genus Puma.)
Confused yet? I certainly am. Perhaps they should have used the Seven Dwarfs. Then this would be OS X 10.7 Doc.
If they can't keep their machines clean, they probably don't even know what webmail is (or even that they can check e-mail from any machine other than that one.)
Yep... I got tired of being in a place that hasn't had raises in quite a while (since a few years before I came...) so I started applying everywhere. I ended up with an interview, and am expecting to hear if I got the job tomorrow. The cool part is the pay is likely a 20% raise over what I'm making now.
Although, I've also read that my generation tends to change jobs on average once every 2 years... so maybe it's just time.
Now the phishers can just mock up the Facebook e-mail. Click [this link], and enter your Facebook password to finish downloading your information. If you didn't request a download, click [this link] and enter your password to change your settings and prevent this from happening in the future.
Wait, your big plan is to: 1. Cut off their access (presumably also to e-mail) 2. Send them an e-mail that they must reply to if they want to be able to read email.
And where exactly are they supposed to read this email?

I suppose that's better that tasting like something very young and ALIVE...
If you're late to the party, you better bring something that no one else has... like a Windows 7 phone. :-)
That's the only reason my homemade cellphone made with rubber bands didn't outsell the iPhone... lack of supply.

And you still get either Coke or Pepsi...
What I really want to know is, did it make a tiny solar system? Maybe we should wait a few trillion years to see... :-P
He can't use his hand, you insensitive clod!

Here's an article telling about the serial port OK from Apple last February:

It's survival of the fittest, I guess. It just makes my high-quality work stand out even more.
California being the most liberal state doesn't mean that there are NO conservatives there. Not that Arnie is a real conservative anyway...
You must have never heard of Macros. Also, you must have never thought of:

So did my friend, Mr. Tree. And the stop sign that slightly bows in the wind. It's not all that great of an accomplishment, really.
No matter what the choices are, CmdTaco will always get the most votes...

Remember kids, you can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friend's nose.
Unless they have a Facebook account, that is...

I work in IT at a state university that hasn't given raises in over 6 years... I've only been here a year and a half though...

They're rat neurons, so you use REALLY TINY bits of cheese, obviously.
