According to the article, it's the other way around. "Masters" value effort, while "performers" value skill. Mapping it the other way around, like what you did, makes more sense though.

Based on the article's definition, masters are sensates while performers are intuitives. Intuitives loves solving novel and complex problems, but they will easily get bored. Sensates, on the other hand, would dutifully do their job as long as the task is well defined. The majority of Slashdotters are sensates.

Disregarding corner cases is bad design. It does not matter if it's unlikely that the user would name a file as Personal_AV. If that condition is possible, and side-effects would occur because of that condition (i.e., deleted files), then it is a bug.

I'm a stutterer and one of the problems that I've encountered is the lack of open source software for Delayed Auditory Feedback/Frequency Altered Feedback (DAF/FAF). DAF/FAF reduces stuttering to a certain degree.

There is a need for a free Linux (or even Windows mobile) DAF/FAF software. If such free software exists, stutterers can simply install it on their PDAs (Angstrom Linux, anyone?), and connect it to a headphone. PDAs are much cheaper and useful than DAF/FAF hardware.
