    Considering how 3DTVs failed spectacularly and VR is a niche market within a niche market, it's hardly just them who don't want or need either. The vast majority of consumers have said no thanks.

  9. But Apple was only able to do so after many years of lobbying after having to accept DRM or they would be told to fuck off by the labels.

  10. There's nothing ironic about it. HMV simply didn't have any choice since DRM-free music was never gonna be accepted at that time by record labels. That was during the height of their foaming at the mouth over Napster.

    And the only reason the "modern way" is better is because Amazon Music opened after the record labels had acquiesced on the DRM issue. Had they tried to open it in the early 2000s they would have had all the same DRM demands that iTunes and HMV had to accept.

    You asked why someone would have chosen it over Duh Gimp and I told you. Duh Gimp failed to have basic image editing features for decades after everyone else implemented it. That's why I choose this and continue to use it. Duh Gimp is a garbage attempt at a Photoshop clone.
