    You raise a very good point. Somehow I doubt that if you asked the actual technicians involved, they would say "OMG IT'S ANOTHER CHERNOYBL HAPPENING RIGHT NOW" and might even be able to suggest a couple REASONABLE ways to prevent it from happening again without this "no new reactor research for 40 years" bullshit.

    Seriously, what the heck were you trying to say? "Since temporary Windows files exist unencrypted in memory, encrypting your data doesn't help much"? You can encrypt your entire system drive with TrueCrypt, though I don't know if that would have any effect on said temp files.

    TrueCrypt doesn't do folders. It makes encrypted volumes that can either be a file, or a partition.

    Yes. I thought "dynamically expanding file" was the default during volume creation?

    You see, from your perspective the cube would never quite reach the EH and would appear frozen in time. However, yon cube will sail uneventfully through the event horizon and in short order strike the singularity. This is a paradox, and we all know that any theory which results in a paradox is by definition false.

    Wouldn't it only be a paradox if the cube physically existed in both places? Observation being relative due to dilation and all.

    I've actually had the opposite experience; it seems to me they used to be worse when I started using Firefox (~2.0.0.4 I think) and they aren't as bad as they used to be. I used to have to restart it every few hours but haven't had that problem since maybe 3.5.

    My thoughts exactly. There haven't been any features that I've really needed since tab save on exit and the Awesomebar (okay, I don't technically need that but I've come to like it (set to just display bookmarks)) in 3.0.
