    Disturbing to look at letter after letter to the FBI. All these well meaning people thinking that they're doing the right thing by reporting this work to the FBI, suggesting that the FBI stop it's publication. These people are a greater threat to freedom than anyone who has bought this book.

    Sure do. In fact I just installed StuffIt Deluxe on an SE/30 last weekend

    Do you really need Gigabytes of movies you will never watch again? Music Collection so big that your playlist is months on lenght? Irrelevant TV shows?

    The bigger the collection, the more fun shuffle is.

    More ebooks than you can possibly read?

    You never know which one you'll need to refer to.

    A smart phone is still going to be less robust than a simple phone. I can go on eBay and buy a used Pentium 4 for about the same price as a C64. Which one is more likely to be functional in 5 years?

    Nokia thrives by selling very low end, but very robust phones in the hundreds of millions to the 3rd world where a modern smart phone wouldn't survive a day.

    Well, there's no reasoning with pure authoritarianism. If the law is the law because it's the law, and breaking the law is bad because it's against the law, the law is always right, tautologically. Any sane individual (and most insane ones!) will realize that there are just and unjust laws. People imprisoned for possession of marijuana are victims of a repressive regime. There is absolutely no reason why that should happen, the punishment should fit the crime.

    Yep. Remember what happened the last time the President used the internet to ask the people what they wanted? The most popular response, by a long shot, was marijuana reform. The President came out and laughed, as if tens of thousands of people in jail were some sort of joke. I don't expect patent reform to be taken any more seriously.

    This is why I'm still on a land line. I pay $15 a month for my landline. To ditch the land line, I'd have to pay more per month, pay for incoming calls (!), have a limited number of minutes, and have to sign a contract. No thank you.

    What level of violence and nudity should "clearly" be restricted? It is not clear that ANY level of violence, nudity, or anything else should be restricted by the government.

    I would want to be taught by someone who is honest. If a dimwitted student is holding back the rest of the class, I want the teachers empowered to say so and do something about it. In my experience, the more patronizing a teacher, the less effective he or she is.

    Getting rid of NAT is the whole reason to switch to IPv6. NAT is evil and should never happen. And before you say it, there is NO security benefit over a properly configured stateful firewall.
