Do you have a link to the script? I am sure a search would pull up many fan made versions, but I would be interested in reading the right one, sounds very interesting.
I guess it depends on your definition of novel. It was a collection of short stories interconnected with each other with a overreaching story that they were all being told in a row by someone speaking of her experiences with the shift of robots in society. The movie had absolutely nothing to do with the book but the name, I can't even point to a single one of the short stories that the movie used for any of the themes.
Web 1.0 supposedly is static web sites. Web 2.0 encompasses anything that allows users to interact back. Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, stuff like that. According to the marketing morons that came up with the phrase "web 2.0", Slashdot is in the list.
In theory, 2 years of real world experience is supposed to be equivalent to a bachelors. There is a whole conversion chart for government contractors. In practice, contractors prefer you still have the degree. You just have to find the right contractor who values a person with good experience and the abilities over someone with a piece of paper that says the person tests well and is able to memorize facts, but not necessarily actually be able to solve a problem.
my Government Motors Inc Saturn is only 12 years old and on its 4th set of hydraulic front brakes.
You had 4 hydraulic system failures? or you replaced the brake pads on it? If you had the hydraulic system used for braking fail on you 4 times, I think I would report that to consumer reports, and maybe the NHTSA as that is a serious flaw in a critical system.
When I was getting a divorce in Maryland, my now ex wife was pregnant. During the proceedings, I had to declare that the child was not mine. As she did not disagree with that, that was that. But in Maryland, it is presumed that the child is a product of the marriage, even with admitted cheating.
It doesn't fix the issue. The issue is very poor antenna design which has not been fixed. They used a work around, kind of like when you tie up your bumper with some wire to keep it from falling off, you should still get it fixed.
I wish it was possible to buy a car and other things that excluded CA regulations. Can you imagine how much more gas milage you would get if you didn't have to have CA regulations put on your car? But no, I am forced to buy cars that are 50 state legal just in case I decide to drive 4000 miles to sell my car...
Hydro only doesn't produce CO2 if you completely discount the amount of concrete used in the construction. Though if you used carbon negative concrete that absorbs the carbon from the air, it might work out. I don't know if this stuff would work for a dam though.
As far as transporting the energy, why don't we use some process to produce fuel for cars using that energy, then we are producing an energy dense product that we already have the infrastructure (in the area!) to move around.
Thank you for illustrating this so well. As a Catholic, this is what I was taught by the church. I am just not as good as you at speaking of it so clearly. You hit the nail right on the head though, this is exactly how it is taught by the Catholic Church.
I believe I even read somewhere that there was a book of Judas as well that was dropped from the bible because he was considered unworthy to write about Jesus as he was the one who betrayed him. This however wouldn't follow the teachings of Jesus, as Jesus knew he would be betrayed and would have forgiven Judas.
I was actually surprised to hear that the commandment "thou shalt not kill" is actually a mistranslation as well. This is why it is acceptable to be a Christian in the Army during war time. The actual commandment would be better translated to "Thou shalt not murder" and includes killing animals for fun just as much as humans. It is perfectly acceptable to kill in defense of home and country, but I suppose it gets a little grey when you talk of things such as the crusades or the war in Iraq or police action in Afghanistan.
If Jesus were alive today, he would be a socialist. He absolutely believed that every man should help out those less fortunate than himself. However, I don't believe he would support taxing everyone to take care of the less fortunate, but instead people making the decision to help others from their heart.
I can understand bashing the church for its handling of the matter, however, priests as a population have a lower incidence of sexual deviance to every other population segment, so quit acting like a moron.
1 terabit is surprisingly reasonable. that works out to 1/25th of your connection over the entire time of the month. I could deal with that. I pay for the FiOS 25/25 symmetric plan and have never had a single complaint about the speed, and amazingly they haven't hinted at capping the connection yet. Out of curiosity, what city are you located in where they have a city run fiber network? San Francisco?
And Verizon. I have never been cut off for data usage on their wireless or FiOS.
Than I would consider those gateways web, web is short for world wide web, the standard convention of which is www.x.x
That would be why it isn't web at all, it is another type of internet connection. Web implies HTML/HTTP server, therefore Usenet isn't web...

Did you get the printer on fire error?

So, when we really send people to Mars, we need to make them believe it is an earth side test :D

As far as I know, they are still selling that model, and it still has the issue. They just most likely give you a rubber bumper with the phone now.

You don't happen to play Eve do you?
Its craptastic!

That made me laugh hysterically. You do realize that every program that is outsourced has to be redone due to how horribly it is done the first time?
