A Taiwan-based corporation that brings in a lot of revenue to its government is now hurting and then goes to the same government it has given billions to and asks it to investigate the legitimacy of negative articles from its competition which, in turn, creates negative publicity for their competition?
Well, unlike Jobs, Linus is creating/maintaining/guarding some of the most important code in the world... which is *free*. He can dick it up all he wants I say.
Time to update the Miranda warning to include: 'Anything you Tweet or post can and will be held against you in a court of law'?
Sorry but courts allow emails to be introduced as evidence so long as authenticity can be established. Why shouldn't this hold true for tweets and facebook posts? This has absolutely nothing to do with Miranda.
Now we won't be able to read a detailed plot of the latest crappy Hollywood movie or know which episode of Family Guy a particular subject was culturally referenced!
Vegetarians are conversation killers.
Someone do something witty with that will ya? It's too early for me.
I'm also not ascribing malicious intent but a professional producer should catch it well before air and direct the editor to fix it.
