Risk is not the issue here. No law firm with some level of common sense would take on a class action law suit if they didn't think they would get paid in the end. If they claim to represent people who were involved then they need to give the people a bigger slice of the pie. Period.
Attorneys say they would file to have the case moved to class-action status, which makes the outcome relevant to all of AT&T's iPhone accounts.

The problem with that statement is that justice in america is only for the rich and the corporations so unless he actually gets a judge that A- understands technology and B- is not unduly influenced by corporate interests he doesn't have a chance. Welcome to Amerika

My government (for better or worse) can't seem to function properly unless we're at war with something or someone. This sort of behaviour seems to be inexorably linked to profit taking by multinational corporations and defense contractors. Same old crap.
