When 1 company, whichever it is, takes over the hardware market for consoles, it won't be so bad. Then you just pull a Compaq, reverse engineer the whole chuckwagon, and all of the developers will be able to concentrate all of their resources on one software platform (without the fear of the platform being unpopular)--meanwhile the hardware competition ensures that the consumers won't get raped.

Exclusive distribution for drugs for patents based novelty, enablement, and usefulness provides the incentive for research. Let me put it this way: How many documentable, tangible senior citizens will suffer because of GWBUSH's inaction on perscription drug plan vs the
untold, unseen, millions of people that would have died if Gore got into office and got his way on price controls? Gore's plan would have
gutted the venture capital for research and investment that goes into creating intellectual property, (yes property) that saves lives through
medicine if his price controls were in place.

Please moderate down the guy who said patents should last only 2 years. It takes at least that long to get pharmaceutical drugs through clinical trials.

I wouldn't keep the autobots and decepticons in one room.
In fact I wouldn't let Grimlock anywhere near the fridge.
Grimlock say, "Me hungry". I always found it amusing that they turned a futuristic robot into a dinosaur design that used primitive language of Tarzan.

Try this:
Remember Seinfeld's Vandelay Industries episode where George has to make up a name of a company he applied for employment so he could keep getting his unemployment check?
adding a fake company name to your address
c/o you
Then you change the contact name if you dont want it.
You get more interesting junk mail and corporate offers for magazines that others do not get. No special effort required.
These organizations never ask for a corporate resolution or minutes from a meeting detailing authorized signers.
-As someone else said before me: Out of focus photographs or those ass-and balls-shots your uncle took of himself using the camera on the table at your family's most recent wedding reception
- Change, especially Canadian. (Costing more in postage than it's worth)
-Tampons, used or other bathroom products such as q-tips, dental floss, kleenex, etc.
-Guppies, with a note attatched "Hope you received this in time!":))
-Or best/worst of all--a chunk of Lutefisk.
-FIRE ants,,,,FIRE, FIRE
-Those goddamn stinky magazine perfume/cologne inserts especially in Sports Illustrated
-those AOL disks
-ash tray remains
-CHILI powder (with a picture of Flea, signed 'With Love')
-Those 20 oz pop bottle lids that say "Please Try Again"
-Pubes!
Thank you.
It won't exactly be 30 cents that the recipient is charged because it's bulk mail, but I like the sentiment.
You forgot to mention the 2 or 3 pieces of construction paper that you're supposed to fold into the envelope to make the recipient pay the higher rate!
I marvel that if Microsoft is so interested in innovation, that they can't "integrate" a basic word processor with spell-check into the operating system like they can a browser .
They must be too busy inserting Pac-Man and Flight simulator easter eggs into their products to give a damn about what most consumers would like.
Microsoft feels that you are entitled to get the features you want in an operating system integrated. More people want a simple spellcheck-capable word processing program included with their OS than want an integrated browser. Microsoft is in effect saying that it is ok for the consumer to get what they want bundled in their OS for free. That means it is OK to pirate Office.
Children are just like any other group of people. A few winners, but a WHOLE LOT of losers. What are we protecting them from?
Adults in general can kiss my ass, but snot-nosed kids are relegated to kissing my only 25% exposed buttocks, I guess.

If fiber capacity utilization doubles every year, then we have 8 years to go from.5% capacity to 128% of capacity.
