Just look at the capabilities of a quad or a hummer to see just how rough terrain can get and still allow for wheeled designs. At this point, of course, things probably become so expensive that it does make sense to switch to legs. My point was just that, unless you really are designing a robot to clamber over obstacles, or climb moon-cliffs, legs may very well be an over-design to the system.

Ok I did that and this is what I seen So what was your point again?

We're going to have that anyway with Android, and HTC is the king of alternate UI for Android. The benefits and drawbacks are debatable, but at some point there will be devices running Android that can't even be readily identified as Android devices by a casual user.

Isn't that one of the points people always use to show how Android is better than the Apple alternative? Its OSS if they all looked the same and no one thought outside of the box what is the point. You can't talk about how great it is to be open source and then complain that people change it and customize .

I know this is hard to believe but sometimes you don't have a choice!

This is what people always say, and it's almost always wrong. I mean, especially in the case of fast food it's so wrong it's unbelievable. I just went on a 5000 mile road trip last year, damn near every little small city/town had atleast a mcdonalds and some other major fast food joint. Not all of course, but if you're working near a college, i really doubt you don't have other options.

Exactly even though everyplace has one they all also have a high school and where do you think every high school kid applies multiply that many applicants by 10 if you also have a college. You mean nothing to them you are 100% replaceable and without minimum wage and other things to keep corps from completely raping you not only would you be making slave wages but also have no hope of workmans comp and other such things to make sure you stay safe.
