    when advertising is using our knowledge of the brain, to short circuit peoples decision making, or to compel them to buy things, i think a restriction is needed. remember, its freedom of speech for the people, not the corporations.

    Many casemakers paid extra for "apple approved" logos, and the ability to sell in the apple store. Apple has now stopped ALL sales of these cases from their store. yeah.

    plus a childs brain is not fully developed, and advertisers use psychological tricks to force children to think they need things. i think we need to really look at the restricting the speech of advertising companies.

    Make tests that dont require calcs. You can test knowledge without complex math. hell, use nothing but variables in the equations, if they get z=xy/r*2, then thats an answer. If they cant speak english, show them the door. This is college, not kindergarten

    I am currently writing some software for an advertising company. They deal mainly in yellowpages type stuff. They track over 100 attributes per item, for small cards with a few lines of text on them. I predict they crater in 5 years tops.
