I'm a 24 year old Canadian. I grew up with the school system teaching me Metric. My parents work in English units. To this day, I usually have to convert temperature, weight and height to English, for it to make sense to me. When i'm driving in the US, i mentally convert the posted mph speed limit to kph, since it's harder to see the smaller MPH markings on my speedometer.

Trust me, it's fun when you have an American in the car, who has never seen a Canadian dashboard(big letters are kph, and small is mph), and he looks at the dash, and thinks you're really going the 120 "mph" that the dash says.

Ok, to make this ontopic. My desk is the same way, every couple weeks i take a bit of time and try to hide everything that's ugly. There's the Ouija board(white board) up on the wall, although lately it's showing the same dozen or so items. If it hits anything, it's destroyed, no doubt about it, so that information plate that's on it(if that wasn't a voyager only thing) is destroyed. So you have to have technology capable of hunting this thing down by accelerating to its speed, and then grabbing it, and slowing it down. If one of these wandered through our solar system, we'd have a hell of a time catching it, even with todays technology, no?
