    We have a few carts from Bretford - very well made:

    In a standard configuration we securely mount a laser printer and wireless access point to the cart, so all the teacher needs to do is wheel in the cart, plug it in, and hand out the laptops.

    They have an optional timer which has two outlets and switches between them on a schedule:

    This lets you recharge 24 laptops, 12 at a time, to avoid overloading a standard electrical circuit (in Canada, 15 amp, 110V).

    In Canada, if someone steals your firearm and you haven't met certain storage requirements you can be charged with a crime (although I don't think you can be held responsible for the crime they commit with it).

    Calling someone stupid because they're uninformed is about as legitimate as calling someone stupid because they can't spell. The uninformed can become informed, just as someone can learn to spell, use a dictionary, or maybe take a bit more care typing. Neither implies stupidity, which really can't be helped.

    Apparently you were a bit confused by the technobabble - Mitochondrial DNA has nothing to do with the chromosomes and that is exactly why it is useful in tracking lineage.

    Darwin's theory of evolution is a theory.

    Evolution was a theory before Darwin; his contribution was to describe how evolution could occur through natural selection (cf. alternate mechanisms such as Lamarckism).

    I don't think you give dogs enough credit, as in my experience they do perceive the past and anticipate the future. I have two labs, and the older one has figured out that the younger one is a bit of a dolt. If she (older) wants to get the prime spot on the couch and the younger is already there, she just goes to the door and growls. The young one jumps up and does his duty as a fierce guard dog while she runs to the couch and takes up as much room as she can.

    Also, wolves hunting behaviour shows communication and to an extent planning.
