...before compilers support it:( It would have been nice to see even a rudimentary garbage collection included but alas... C++ programmers are the most stubborn...
Let use be honest here, most people bothering to hack their PS3 are interested in pirated games. That is their primary motivation.
If we're going to "be honest here", it should be pointed out that what finally motivated the right people to irrevocably break open the PS3 was Sony removing the OtherOS feature.
You sir have hit the nail on the head.... it's not about pirated software or what ever Sony claims they were protecting.... it's about their idiotic removal of the OtherOS feature that spawned all this mucking about under the hood...
A framework is anything that couples code together as a package.... whether it's on the OS layer, an API layer, or an application layer. Anything that is bundled code that works together for a programmer to leverage is essentially a framework.
But it's still going to the home, via the iPad app... And you can only access it through your home network (Provider provided network) so essentially, you can only access this content from your home, of which it's already going to your TV! You just happen to be watching it on an uncomfortable 10" TV with no HDMI inputs or Coax Cable and with a giant paywall of use...
This "freeze under load" is due to a memory fault... mainly in the systems ram... Could be faulty memory or the memory isn't seated correctly...
From this crashlog (http://pastebin.com/QXiTbFHN) it clearly shows an EXC_BAD_ACCESS fault with has to do with the kernel trying to read a memory address that's corrupt.
Anyone who has done any kind of hacking on a hackintosh can diagnose this in a few minutes.... fix the problem with either reseating the memory or replacing the sdram chips... problem solved...
Wasn't RFID hacked some while back? What makes them think this is unhackable? Counterfeiting will just get more elaborate that's all.... They'll find a way to do the same thing once these are out in the wild...
Didn't Microsoft say the same thing about the Tablets they were making before... until Apple came in and made a really good one and now EVERYONE is interested in tablets again...
Only now they are talking about OS's. "Linux is at the end of it's Lifecycle" and then kernel 2.6.38 will come out with all new task scheduler and be faster than windows. Microsoft is always trying to quell their own fears by telling the public not to fear (and thus, stick with Microsoft...)
Or..... you can learn online at anytime by learning how to use git and taking a look at projects on github.... You don't need some guy to come to your school to teach you how to use widely documented tools that take virtually no time to start using...
is that oracle is in it for the patents. They bought Sun for their Java patents et al. They have already brought suit against Google for Android and are going to milk the legal machine while killing off any Java advancements. Oracle couldn't care less about Java... but they do care about multi billion dollar industries who use it... I give Java another year, maybe two, before it's completely dead....
I honestly believe this switch-a-roo is because of the Anti-Trust lawsuit brought on by the FTC... But they wouldn't mention that would they. They would be like "Sure, we'll let Flash-based apps on our store and show everyone the approval guidelines. It's not like we're being forced to or anything...." "Of course not...."
start with main(int argc, const char* argv[]) and work your way backwards.... look at what is called and dive in deeper...

I agree.... it's a platform language, not a low-level systems language. It's for applications, not for memory-starved systems layers...
screw Pulse Audio... I want my Dr. Dre Beats software preinstalled and unable to be uninstalled. Cause he's so gangsta...
+1 on this, but most people have associated Linux with the entire operating system including such and such distro's user space tools and programs....
I really wish I had an invite to google+... anyone want to be my hero and send me an invite to gabe(at)gabereiser(dot)com??? pwease?
hahaha +1!!!
haha, total win....
Oh if I had mod points... thanks for that laugh..

Can't really say that as their "lost revenues" is more "revenues" then they have gotten since the history of radio began... I say throw it out...

after 50 iterations it becomes "GNU / Linux Caozuojitong live in Russia, you know."

i second this... this would be a nice shot in the arm for those of us NOT using repo kernels..

The loop hole here is "up to"... "up to" != "is"
