At the point that we saw a dozen cops murdering people for drug proceeds almost all things become quite believable.
Then we also have a film of about 150 NY cops raiding a wharehouse and carting off TV sets and the like after the first cop broke open the doors pretending that a burglary had taken place.
What excuse did the cops offer for the raid and seizures? If this story is half true these cops need a lot of years in prison. If it is all true then throw the key away!
I can testify that knee surgery is sometimes a wonderful cure. I suffered terrible pain for years and two new artificial knees are better than the originals in many ways and they never,ever hurt at all.
Yeast plus sugar often brews some great alcohol. In that sense it can be a perfect cure for almost everything. After all, when a man is drunk enough no problems exist at all.

Or if someone decides to make films and photos of these girls is that somehow pornographic? It seems to me that which is legal and open to full public view can hardly be called pornography. And if a man travels with these photos or films or sends them over the net the notion that every hick jurisdiction in America can pass legal judgement upon him is revolting.
it's time for the UK to rethink and change a bunch of their laws. There is a thing called freedom and one's ability to speak without fear of law suits is part of that freedom. To diminish that freedom in any way is an insult to humanity and nature itself.
Guys with MBA degrees need to run and hide right now. Probably a degree from an accredited department in any major university as a net designer or maintainer is about as good as it gets. Either that or go for engineering the hardware which has got to be a nightmare end of the pond to compete in.
Probation or any other action other than telling the kids that unwanted consequences can occur is wrong headed. These days parents should be happy if a kid displays a normal sexual interest. It sure beats them being fascinated by crack or ice.
Can we blame them? After all when people have met all of societies requirements and educated themselves and have shown that they are more than willing to work hard they have completed their end of the social contract. If society then fails to provide for them then it is reasonable for them to get by any way they can. Responsibility works in both directions.
There is a snag. Often the value of data can not be appreciated within our life spans. For example if we wanted to know exactly what horn and mouth piece a musician used to make a recording in 1920 we will usually be completely out of luck. Fanatical record keeping of seemingly insignificant trivia can actually have real value. For example how popular was the saxophone compared to the clarinet in 1920? A study of reeds sold for those instruments in that era could answer that question.
It sure sounds to me like the environment was improved in relation to critters eating well and reproducing. Perhaps this tactic could restore depleted fish stocks.
It sounds like Canada must be married to Australia with this nonsense court ruling. Must we all now go to a public library or internet cafe in order to be able to post anonymously? Somebody should act up and get rude and loud until governments get the message. Freedom of communications is not in the hands of governments to regulate. This freedom belongs only to individuals not to states.

I don't think the school had reasonable suspicion just because another student claimed to have gotten the pills from her. Informants frequently lie and children also frequently lie. The risk from an ibuprofen tablet simply is not great enough to justify a strip search of a child.

Disease is more than an individual issue. The idea of continuously updated, massive data bases can also have effects upon people who are not ill. For example a person building up to a heart attack behind the wheel of a truck is something we all need to be protected from. Perhaps we may one day be able to spot people who are about to go off the deep end with mental illness. That also might save more lives than just that of the disturbed person. And it goes without saying that illegal drug use and alcoholism could be knocked out with medical implants as well. Your body might dial 911 without you asking it to make the call.
This article points to one very real problem with censorship. Once one party assumes the right to censor then all parties, everywhere assume the same privilege. The simple fact is that any censorship, no matter how seemingly innocent, is an attack upon the freedom of all people in all nations.
Thank God the Obama administration is trying to do something about our economic mess. I understand that very few people have any real grasp of economics and they also don't have any grasp of just what can happen when an economy deflates. We were on the edge of a real doomsday in this situation. It seems that the cash infusion has already caused a bit of an upturn.
Whether Shell is being prudent and going in the safest economic way they can or whether they are fiends, oozing greed is meaningless. Their ideas are killing us all and the reasons behind those ideas enable this oil horror story to continue.
