Imagine the level of surveillance required to keep nut jobs at bay and the crippling effect of their actions. Some jerk lights a forest fire in California and when the smoke clears everyone's homeowners insurance goes through the roof. Financial misery results. The public becomes more and more unhappy and the system descends into a downward spiral.
