    There is no way anybody is going to trust the collection or the handling of cash or credit card transactions to machines that are as virus prone and crashable as anything M$ puts out.

    Bridgestone/Firestone does just that. Goes hand-in-hand with their tires, I guess.

    How is this Microsoft's fault?

    It is their fault that the default "sa" account has a null password by default. Granted, whomever is doing the setup of the server should change it as a first step, but how hard is for Microsoft to require a non-null password to be set to continue setup?

    Harware: Athlom 1.3GHz, 256 DDR RAM, 20GB ATA-100 HDD, 10/100 FD/FC NIC, Intellimouse, TNT2 display: $687
    17" monitor: $163

    Total Hardware Cost: $850


    Removing the MS software would reduce our desktop prices by half.
