I think the issue with Sealand is that their pipe could get cut off from its main source (England?) as a result of a court case. They are a sovereign country but they still pay for a business service which has no boundaries. That is the weak link in the chain.

What Dune series? All I saw was the fist Dune book, which I thought was very good. Seems like the SciFi channel has been promising a lot but not delivering. They also said they were gonna finish the Dune books and make the Ursala LeGuin books into movies. Whenever I swich on scifi channel all I see are second rate horror movies that didn't even make it at the box office.

My best teacher goes to Mr.Wehling, 10th grade Geometry teacher. I was doing terribly in high school, didn't enjoy learning, was uninspired. I remember it was the end of the first week in Geometry class that Mr.Wehling was discussing the meaning of theorems and pointed me out and asked me if I were a 'hip' person. I said yeah I guess. Then he looked at me and said how can you say that if you don't know the definition of hip? From then on I was hooked on mathematics, it all clicked with me, like a firework went off in my head. Mr.Wehling truly loved the subject and made that year unforgettable. Thanks Mr.Wehling!

  25. Economic model on Talk Things Over With Richard M. Stallman · · Score: 1

Why don't I ever hear this guy talk about the basic economic principles behind his beliefs. We live in a capitalist economy. We make things so we gain currency to buy the stuff we want. Thats the way it works. It would be great if we lived in a 'Star Trek' universe and nobody paid for anything but did what they were good at for the common good of the Federation. Thats not reality. Free software is what we'd all like, but anarchistic beliefs don't buy Big Macs.
