I agree. The only argument I've heard is that we punched Kadafi hard in the 80's but didn't invade. You never hear from him anymore, in fact he's sort of become a leader for Africa. Maybe Sadam would straighten up if we hit him hard and let him think about it?
No..NET uses namespaces to identify dlls so it completely does away with dll hell. This "feature" in the article is talking about the old COM way of using dlls. And as someone else pointed out, this is a pre-registry registry.
And the fact that Opera is a very simple browser that can't do sh*t except view static html pages. It's pointless to use Opera for anything more than viewing uninteresting pages.
Has anyone ever been to Oregon? This state is so backwards that it's illegal to pump your own gas at the gas station. They didn't want to displace gas pump operators. This is also the state that has pretty much clear cut most of it's forests and had a governor that wouldn't allow anyone new into the state. He went so far as to refuse to give out driver's license unless you were a residence for so many years. It's one messed up state.
I've been looking at the DVD Creation Station which runs around $200. There is an encoder chip built in so you don't have to mess around with software compression. Plus its a lot faster and real time.
What about a "clean room" solution like how Compaq "reverse engineered" IBM's bios code? I've always found that solution interesting in light of Intellectual Property rights.
I thought the show sucked. I could never understand how it lasted as long as it did. Hopefully SciFi can fill that time slot with something better this time.
Remember the dotnet framework classes are much more extensive than Java, they include several OS functions that Java doesn't even touch (Java is platform neutral).
Check www.no-ip.org. You run a little app on your computer that updates your dynamic ip with a dns name you set up with them. Amazing thing is it's all free.
Hey remember it's better to be pissed off than pissed on. Go buy a CD writer... whiner.

Took long enough to get this going. Let's take Saddam out and move on to the next terrorist country. Go USA!!

You are an idiot -- plain and simple.
I absolutely agree. This will get the US Gov off their backs for being a monopoly.
Yeah DRM CNN and you will be really quicksandt. Is it really >> that much greater? I guess

You obviously must be from Oregon. I'm so sorry, my prayers are with you.

I think the book is Snow Crash, not Diamond Age. Snow Crash was the drug that induced religous like behaviour.
What are you? lonely or something. I don't give a flying fuck about what you like to watch.

Do I have to break my toe to be apart of your gang?
Because Dmitri is NOT in jail. His case was dropped bonehead.
...like spreadin' da gospel.. Halleluyah!!!
Provide a link to this "rumor". I don't believe it.

Does a helicopter push against the ground?

You're right, its a nostalgia thing. Sort of like making a big deal when Timothy Leary died or that Sonny and Cher shows are on DVD now. Big wup.
