Your 0.0000002 cents are duly noted. Let's get 6 billion of us to do the same thing. Oh, let's see, that should amount to about 10% of the capital in circulation. Ooo, ouch! Sorry, man. Unless it upsets Bill Gates or the dead Steve Jobs, you're stuck with what the market offers. Capitalism has no respect for the individual. The Market Collective has more power than any Soviet politburo ever had.
That would be true if the 99% doesn't vote for the ruling party. The people that do vote are hopelessly stuck in their democrat/republican roulette wheel. They did it to themselves. The only hope is to convince the non-voter who knows better than to vote for these people to pick a name and run with it. They are the *sleeping giant* that could put a swift end to the entire problem.
Yeah, there is. They practice them in a couple of the civilized countries in Europe. You're just too accustomed to the lock 'em up bullshit that's been crammed into peoples heads for the last 35 years. Never mind..
There are too many alternatives to consider prison. What you're asking for is the convenience and expedience of just locking people up and forgetting about them for a while. Well, if you want to piss them off, and possibly make them actually dangerous, then by all means...
That makes no sense. If he can't and keep and spend the money, why go through all the effort? I didn't say we can't put a ankle bracelet on him. And if he gets violent, well, you do what what must be done, don't hesitate.
I believe the word is rehabilitation. Punitive, vengeful punishment is not helpful towards that end. What you will usually get is radicalization, not exactly an irrational reaction to such abuse. And recidivism in the US has more to do with corruption than anything.
With enough signatures you can put anyone you want on the ballot. The voters decide, not the money, not the crooks. Following the money for convenience is their free choice. Stop trying to make excuses and passing blame.
Bullshit. They have primaries, and a process for putting anybody on the ballot they want. Voters are just lazy and submissive, and antipathic towards each other.
I'm not into sadism, man.
:-) Things aren't always as they seem
And putting the means of production in the hands of the people is evil. It interferes with interstate commerce.
It doesn't matter. The whole 'privacy' thing is an illusion.
Now they want to make it look legal. Tally ho...

Yeah whatever, typical right wing crap you can't reason with.

What is your alternative?

No, just take his money, property, and what he makes in the future. Leave him enough to buy a can of beans every day. He can sleep at the Y.
I never defend piracy. And if a person isn't dangerous, you don't lock him up!
Prison is never 'reasonable' for petty shit like this.
Is the customer signing a contract? If so, what's the issue? If not, then fuck Lexmark.
They might manage it a tiny bit better without the outsiders who profit from the wars stirring them up.
Not true. Those politicians owe a lot of favors. They take their orders from the private sector.
Charlie Sheen is overrated. How about Lynette Fromme?

No, it speaks of precedent, and history

Shirely, you're not serious!
those customers would go elsewhere
Oh yeah? Where? Name anybody that is safe, anybody at all.
How in the FUCK did THAT happen?!?
The voters keep reelecting corrupt politicians. How could it NOT happen??!
