For corporations, no. Only the original creator should be given that privilege, if it is to be granted at all. Once he's gone, boom! Into the public domain it goes.
And have mommy bring you more Doritos while you play WoW in the basement:
Mommy is in another galaxy far far away, and I really don't have the talent to play anything more complex than Pong. And my house doesn't have a basement. I have to sit outside! On the patio! With a bunch of flowery plants and noisy animals flying around crapping on my keyboard, yuck! Do you have any idea what that's like?!
I have a simple message. Don't pollute. Hardly merits all the criticism it gets. But without a profit motive, it means shit. Business will always come first.
Nobody cares about the climate, aside from the opportunities each disaster presents. In business, profit is the prime, if not the only, motive to be in business at all. Just make it more profitable to be clean.
The republican campaign is a Hillary campaign. It should be obvious by now who they are working for. Eh, whatever, the choice to play along is yours. I hope the payoff is what you expected.
Who is going to turn down that money? Please! Their little stunt made them look like idiots. Look, business is business, it's not a big stretch to *Orders are orders*..
The Hillary voters are going to still vote for her. It doesn't matter what she does. For those of us who will vote for somebody else, eh, no big deal... Just don't give her the job, and forget about her. And besides, the gig she is after is Kissinger's spot. He's ready to buy the farm any second now. There's much more, longer lasting power there, and she won't have to answer to anybody.
Does anyone actually believe this line of bullshit?
Unfortunately, yes... It should be obvious. Lots of people are going to vote for her regardless... There's not a lot that be done. Maybe, if we can wake up the non-voting block, it might be possible to defeat democrats and republicans. Even together they are a minority block of less than 40%.
Actually you are wagging the dog. The state is set up by the corporation to serve its interests. It takes a lot of money to put it all together, and politician who doesn't comply will lose all financial support, or worse. Napoleon's power didn't come from the wretched.
I oppose corporations (and unions) from contributing to political causes, either directly or indirectly.
You shouldn't. It's interfering. Just don't vote for people who take their money, and the problem is solved.
The problem is, there is too much money involved in the politics of killing off corporations.
That sounds more like your typical libertarian poutrage than any kind of truth. Nobody's trying to *kill off corporations*. We only want them to abide by the same rules the rest of us are under. The real problem is that we allow them too much authority over our governments.
If they put the panels out in the fields, make sure they're built high enough to put shelters, roads, etc underneath. I see them on the ground, and that is truly wasteful. The land can't be used for anything else.
It's an attempt to balance the scales. Add up all the capital each side has. The one with the most wins. Thousands of workers have to pool resources to add up to one CEO. What is unfortunate is the the workers 'CEO' (union boss) is just as corrupt as any corporate/government boss. Every institution falls into the same trap.
Nope, they'll just buy up all the copyrights they can, and renew them in perpetuity.

This is just one more reason we need to make quite sure that there's bipartisan opposition to this.
That cannot happen until a whole different class of person is elected into congress. With this bunch, passage is a sure thing.

it should carry a "body cam" to review the kills to ensure is it working properly and not killing things it shouldn't.
If you see da po-lice, tell a brutha!
China operates massive spy operations.
Yeah, they probably do...
say the researchers...
Help me out here. Who should I believe?
Gonna breathe some of that dairy air!
What would you choose?
Whichever comes out mathematically ahead. I wouldn't have to 'choose' anything.

It smells like blood, and bad coke...

Nice try, but that doesn't apply here. China is bashing us with defective, harmful products. We need to enforce better consumer protections.
Does everybody here go around making asinine assumptions? Read the very first two words of the damn post!
I dunno, maybe the battery is replaceable but who cares?
Safety reasons... Non removable batteries shouldn't even be legal.
Heh, really. at least flip flops for the beach. Probably the biggest holdup is the 'ink'.

Yes, I want a pony, too!

Oh, man! I can see the licensing battles now! That ought to make for a very slow 'revolution'.
