    No, most people in the sex industry do not want to be there.

    Is it possible you would get the same results from people who work in coal mines, or maybe city sewers? How about McDonalds? A sweatshop? What makes sex so evil? Why should anybody feel any worse about that line of work? It's the prohibition that turns it into a slave market, under the control of those who wrote the law.

    My friend, who works in the pharmaceutical industry in the UK, was telling my of a pharmaceutical company refusing to provide drugs to the NHS at the price they were willing to pay. So yes, this is happening.

    I suppose, if it were necessary, the NHS could just ignore the patents and copyrights (that the government granted to them in the first place) and pay somebody else to make the drug at the desired price, and that company can hire the researchers from the other company that went bankrupt because they wouldn't negotiate. The damn companies would tread very lightly if only the people would put some hot coals under their feet.

    Nope, I stated precisely my point above, take it as you like. What you call 'running off', I call, 'not willing to play stupid little games'. I don't know how, so I have to speak directly with simple words. I cannot help it if it puts you off. That would not be my problem. I simply detach. So actually, you win. The world is your oyster, and I try to stay out of the crossfire, and search for way to neutralize the weaponry.

    :-) Well sir, If that happens outside the US I probably won't believe the guy has a gun, but I only have to be wrong once, right? But the invariability of false equivalencies emerging from it preclude my agreement to the premise. The old saying still applies. I've rather see one guilty man go free before I see a thousand innocents locked up. Precedence has proven over and over again, when you let it one little thing, it swings the door wide open every single time.

    Yeah, you're right. That whole freedom thing is for the birds... What ever was I thinking? I mean if 98% say I'm wrong, then regardless of the truth, I am wrong!     I didn't read the article, but on face value, the part you quoted seems to be comparing the attenuation to that of the laser while it is raining.

    Oh, believe me. Wireless is the way to go... I was just trying to "fire up" a lively discussion... I do hope to see this downsized to an individual level that can help bring ad hoc mesh networks a little closer to being. Also, if the cost is much cheaper than fiber, the price of the service better reflect that. The people out in the sticks should have the same deals as those downtown.

    And you can keep it. All that 'wisdom' is nothing but props for the emperor's facade. I can only imagine how many years it has held us back. Eh, while all this back and forth goes on, I hold out hope that all attempts at censorship can ultimately be rendered futile by whatever means available, and we can flush all the senseless chatter about 'jurisprudence' down the sewer where it belongs..

    The man was charged with teaching.. That would be a speech issue... And I'm bumping into all sorts of yahoos who are trying to tell that content is relevant, so they can sound all 'liberal' and claim they're for 'free speech', but they're not either really. They want to send us all to Camp Chippewa...

    ...in my area the public transportation infrastructure managers (City Works, County Road Commissions and State Transportation) are under quite a bit of fire for mismanagement, waste and failing infrastructure.

    Purely a reflection of the peoples' favorite candidates. As long as no one has a gun to their heads during election season, the solution seems obvious to me.. There's not much else to say. I see no sense in trying to overcomplicate things. Majority rule is the game of choice, and the rules are simple.
