I don't care. The public domain is the only logical place after the 'owner' loses his privileges. To hell with the banks. They can take a loss every once in a while, that's why they charge interest. If they can demand their money back no matter what, then I demand little or no interest on the loan.
What are you talking about? These people are raking in millions by scaring everybody. Fear and terror are major parts of the economy now. They have replaced manufacturing and farming.
No, sir, I am demanding the law be changed to reflect that a person who did not create this ethereal 'intellectual property' cannot ever own it, or claim it in any fashion. I know it won't happen. The law is dictated by financial interests (kind of a mob of its own), not the 'rights' of a person, or 'the people'.
I really don't care about the content of the scam, whether it's elections or facebook, etc. I am only interested in what makes them work so well. But... that is offtopic, so never mind...
You saw the election results, right? You people wanna talk about scam?? Let's accept the truth, folks. We are creating our idiocracy before our very eyes. BAH! fuck it! 100,000,000 people told me to go fuck off on Tuesday. I guess I may as well... Thanks for the fish... Better luck next life
Bla bla bla... People get paid when they perform work. That's how it works for me. Let me provide you with a tidbit of wisdom from a surprising source: "Why should any employee be paid more than once for the same job?" -- Hollywood executives arguing against paying residuals to actors.
That should apply to the studios and producers and publishers, to everybody, as well. Conversely, the actors and grips and everybody else should enjoy the same bennies as the execs. If they want to sit back and collect rent, they'll have to hand some over to the people that helped to make it possible. But I do agree with the quote. A person should be paid once for the job.
The public grants them the IP. The public can take it back. The public benefits from the IP being on the open market. IP is a public debt. It is granted to you on the condition that the public will benefit from the *promotion of arts and sciences*. I really don't care about the bank's losses. The ATM and other transaction fees they already charge will cover them in a matter of minutes.
Any person that uses the DMCA, even the "little guy" deserves to get fucked for it. But the fines have to be in the billions for them to make a difference. Ticket prices will cover them otherwise. And the law is not "broken". And as last Tuesday and every other election since the law was passed illustrated, it operates under our full consent. We noisy dissenters are statistically invisible. I finally realize just how invisible we are really are. And that majority rule will never work for anybody but the majority.
The solution is to require anyone that wishes to submit DMCA requests has to have a DMCA license number and be registered with the country that the company resides in for the lawful take down.
Great! How are you gonna do it? Is there somebody we can vote for? Oopsy-daisy!
Well, more than anything the case should illustrate why you never, ever give real information when you register. John Smith in Beverly Hills is the only name and address that google and the others should ever see.
To anybody who can read it... You need assistance? You claim to know what would make us better off, and the voters disagree with your assessment. Do you have trouble understanding that? I really don't know how to rephrase it nicely.
Sounds trivial for something like the IRS to handle. Mandatory registration is coming. People will demand it. The direction we are headed is very clear now.
You prefer to have the government grant monopolies to their associates and keep things the ways they are then? Qui bono, buddy...? You have to at least try the open market, having the government compete in it before getting all hysterical there. That's how 'we have people' have our voice, should we decide to use it... future doesn't look too bright though...
Yes, they have... And don't worry about Udall's loss. He wasn't stopping anything. There are two independents in all of congress, nothing will be done about the NSA. Forget about it. It's over. This is what people want, and there's no arguing with it.

...it's not being run by a corporation...
You're kidding, right?
What are you talking about? These people are raking in millions by scaring everybody. Fear and terror are major parts of the economy now. They have replaced manufacturing and farming.

Not an option. You're in whether you like it or not. Let's see... another 2 dollar ATM fee ought to cover any incidents...

Why? Fraud is part of the show. It's perfectly natural.
All their IP should be put in the public domain.
Oh don't worry about that. Taxpayers and ATM fees will cover it. Should take about about 20 or 30 minutes.
All money is debt, without debt there is no payment, without payment there is no economy..
It's not terrorism when you're protecting copyright. :-/
Spoiler Alert! That was sarcasm :-/

Anybody using the satellite pix to catch and stop the loggers? Where's the infrared cams?

I kinda think you need to read the rest of the sentence :-)
Save your comments locally and check occasionally, and raise holy hell if it happens...

I don't know if it's happening yet, but if posts are being hidden or deleted, that will be most unfortunate. We gotta know about it...
