Military... are explicitly in the government's care according to the Constitution. Nothing else is...
*cough* Article I, Section 8, Clause 1 begs to differ:
"The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence [sic] and general Welfare of the United States..."
Common defense includes more than just the military and law enforcement.
Not too comforting to the station wagon full of nuns in the next lane over. The problem with things like this, it has to be all or nothing. Either it works or it doesn't. On the other hand auto parking isn't such a bad idea. At least that could get you within walking distance to the curb without playing bumper cars.
Well, the thing should at least scream over the speakers, *Hey dumbass! You're all gonna die if you don't grab the wheel and hit the brakes!* to get the guy's attention. A little flashing light and chime won't cut it. More than one airliner has crashed because the pilot didn't know the autopilot disengaged.
What does that mean? Will the vehicle quickly slow to a stop? Will it veer off a cliff or into a building or "let go of the wheel" and start swerving to scare the driver into grabbing hold? The statement doesn't make much sense.
Large systems might need to be two separate flywheels spinning in opposite directions though - otherwise having a giant gyroscope in the car could make handling "interesting".
Shouldn't make a difference if it's on a vertical axis. In fact it would reduce body roll in a sharp turn. But batteries still seem to be the simpler and more robust option on the long term. Who needs all those extra rapidly spinning moving parts?
As far as the law is concerned, play it their way, *don't get caught* is all you need to know. Protect yourself by any means available. Luckily there's still Linux. Ultimately the government will end up outlawing general purpose computers to prevent the use of any unauthorized systems, and we'll be left hoping that we can print our own 3D electronics some day. The cat and mouse arms race will never end, until the ruling sociopaths just start exterminating any and all opposition, and the survivors will become caged medical experiments. The future does not look very rosy.
They don't need to. The windfall from quid pro quo with the democrats is perfectly sufficient. Whatever "opposition" they put up is show business to make it look a little less obvious.
Do not confuse corrupt with "brainless". He most certainly is not brainless. The people that vote for him on the other hand.... No, correction, they are just as corrupt, voting for someone that *brings home the bacon*. Why do you think people like Feinstein, Hatch, Wasserman Schultz, in fact democrats and republicans in general, always win? Everybody wants a piece of the pie, and the results you see should be expected.
Oh yeah, that makes sense! Voting is more than just marking a ballot every two years and going back to sleep. "Democracy" is high maintenance. You gotta pay attention to what your representative is doing during the brief time he is at work and not campaigning. If you watch his voting record instead of his speeches, you will get a much more accurate picture of his position and his character. And at the same time you can devalue the campaign dollar to damn near zero. This whole money issue is bullshit. Blame the desire, not the object.
This will help keep us on our toes and build better defenses against them.. The war is already on, and no stupid law is going to stop them anyway, so let's keep it out in the open and guard against complacency on our part.

You can't change the law without changing the politicians who write them. That's not going to happen this year.
Is YaCy worth using yet?

Wasted effort on you, the emperor's pool boy, it's that simple.

Even dolphins aren't safe from the KGB listening in.
Ideally, I'd get a Tesla drivetrain in a BMW or Mercedes coach.
Better yet, a Checker Marathon

Humans aren't the "new" invasive species, they are the most invasive species. Blame the opposable thumb. If birds had them, it would be game over.
Wrong again. You're still leaving out half the equation. Try harder...
We've all got our switches, lights, and knobs to deal with...
:-) Is that all you got? C'mon, man, you can do better. Don't be so boring
Despite your insistence, my previous replies answer everything more than adequately.
Moderators, really, don't think it can't happen
Earache my eye

they don't actually want to win in California.

Sociopaths do better in management than coding.

I wouldn't know, I've never had a Cisco...
Don't have to. My Tarot reading said so
