All of our users are very less than computer literate but they can click a icon I put on their desktop. The environment is totally controlled they get nothing that I don't give them. To our users the linux box is like a toaster you just click something and get your job done, and I am not removing gator from their desktops all day or running adware or spybot, it just plain works.

I just spent two horrific days on a cleanly installed osx box when my main linux machine power supply gave up the ghost. A mac is nothing more than a linux / gnome box that doesn't come with software, yipee sign me up for that. As for useability (ie the clipboard) does not work even close to as good as gnome and kde. The couple of apps that are installed crash all the frigging time. Don't even get me started about the sorry ass browsers (ie and safari) both of
which really suck. I cannot wait until the locat pc parts seller opens this morning so I can get me a power supply for my linux box and take this osx box to the shooting range for some target practice.

Just two days ago I had my main linux box go tits up when the power supply failed in the box. A guy at work gave me a old mac with osx installed on it so I said what the hell I will give it a try. Well all I have to say is I cannot wait to get to the store today and buy a new case this thing is total crap. It is nothing more than a linux / gnome system that has no frigging software. Not only that but the damn apps crash all the time, and don't even get me started about either browser (ie and safari) both of which suck. So save the MAC fan boy shit for someone not smart enough to know better.
