Soon it will be like here in Europe, where they tax you so that no one can get richer than any other worker. It's nanny state tactic - people's feelings would get hurt when other people are better and have more than them.
You watched FOX, did you?
I live in Austria and I can very well assure, there are a lot of people which have more then the average worker. As example, the average Austrian has € 60k savings on the bank...except you know...less then two thirds of the population have less then € 10k in reality...go figure where the other 50k are.
The only thing were we are more socialized is the health and unemployment-system, it's very hard to fall through the social net within Austria.
Linux is great, but it misses many of those features - for example, how do you connect to a remote PC with bash and run your commands there? Oh, you can't. With PowerShell you can easily do that.
Can somebody please shut the freaking script-kiddie who thinks he's cool up? I mean seriously...it's going on my nerves that those guys are called hackers. I mean, I'm not a hacker, not even close...hell, I'm not even a network coder because I suck at it...but I respect the real hacker community enough to exclude those guys from them.
Technically, your distributor needs to provide packages for your distribution. Therefor reporting a lack of packages in your package-management-system will be redirected to your distributor, not Microsoft.
But you can complain about the fact that you "can't find the downloads for Windows and Visual Studio directly on the Microsoft website because it is too cluttered up, and therefor you had to download it from a third-party-website (and still no binaries for Linux/BSD/MacOS to be found)".
Hello, this is Nintendo. We're holding the U.S. patent #4,257,131, which is holding the technique of making a red/blue-clothed italian blumper with a moustache jump in a 2D-environment populated with owles and turtles...oh and of course he eats mushrooms and flowers. You infringe upon this patent so stop copying our technology!
Joke aside, the word you're looking for is "copyright" and maybe "trademark", not "patent".
I don't understand your question...if it was floating around since March, but now Microsoft says "yes, ware going to do that", then yes, now it is news. Before that point it's called "rumor".
Well, selling it didn't work out well in the past.
You've just described 99% of all RPGs (including MMO).
Zelda Clone? I'd like to here the explanation on that one.
realMyst was made up of a complete 3D-Environment...though, still no shooting.
I think that's the whole point of UEFI...that the firmware can't be changed (at least not easily).
...call my PC my trusted companion cube.
...and throw it in the furnace.
You monster.
Wall.

Reminds me of Love. Though, I haven't seen the movie by now, but I'd like to as soon as possible.
I wonder where all the trolls are which are always shouting "Mono is a cheap clone of .NET"...

Yeah, right...UNIX, 30+ years, enough said.
Actually, thanks goes to Jeff Goldblum for that.
+1, whish I had Mod-Points. :)
They are already using YYMM...
So, what did you expect from a Release labeled "Unstable"? He said faster updates/releases, not more stable system.
First, so the harddrive does not contain files, it contains one file with links to torrent files?
Second, THAT'S ART?!
h4ck1n9 is not a cr1m3

That's even true for politicians.
I weep at the poetic beauty.
Microsoft does see that a little bit differently, they just did a major compatible breaking change without incrementing the version number.
Visual Studio? Best IDE? Microsoft Compiler? Best compiler? ... Did I miss the irony tags somewhere? Okay, I agree, for C#/VB.NET those are the best...
Oh, and that's a feature, not a bug.
