There are enough stupid people out there that will download this tool bar to make it worthwhile. These are the same ones who have spy-ware, ad-ware, and virus infected machines because they won't learn.
Proof that some people are just to stupid to own computers.
Clear channel bought their way in long before Bush came into office. They have been buying stations left and right for ten+ years, making them the 800 Lb. gorilla of radio. There biggest problem is their short and repetitive playlist. You would think every group they play has only 3 songs in their library. We won't even go into the mind numbing commercials. After 2 hours you have heard everything you will hear for the rest of the day. I hope they fail big time.
At a friend's computer store he charges $75-150 to remove spy-ware and install ad-aware or spybot. All he does is run ad-aware and then spy-bot. The charge is for the time and the dumbass factor. He has one dumbass that pays this monthly because he's to stupid to stop clicking and run the programs himself.
They even hit cars with property tax now. Not just sales tax at purchase but annual property tax. Wait til they go after washers, dryers, and refrigerators.
I started getting more about a week after the so-called law took effect. Of course anything written that is approved of by the DMA won't work. The do not call list works and the DMA hates it.

In windows you have everything until someone takes it away.
I the world of Linux/Unix you have nothing until root gives it to you.
Windows could be secure, if it was rewritten from scratch. Look deep in the tree, there are stil 3.1 and 3.0 modules in there>
The article is really speculation, not fact. Besides this is the computer industry where everyone steals from each other and tries to get rich off of lawsuits, because it beats working for a living.
I got a cd of Sgt Pepper for my birthday last year and my wife bought Sherl Crows greatest. Thats it for the last 2 years. The last new one I bought was Springsteen. Thats about how often decent music comes out. I do have a nice selection of older stuff and since it's rare that anything new comes out that I even care for, the RIAA gets very little from me.
In the cool season range a fairly hardy low growing very fine leafed grass with weak roots. This is also used on greens in the south with much added work. Even an heebicide resistant variety can be easily killed in any climate. Don't water it! It is not drought resistant at all. If in a rainey area cover it with plastic. Not that big a deal.
North Carolina has had that question for 2 years now. I always seem to forget about it until I do my taxes. I just leave it because I will not waste the time to look it up for them.
The difference is that most small business owners have a concience and will bend over backwards to help someone they think is disabled. Then they get caught in the scam and lose.
They have never focused on security and won't, until it affects the bottom line. When people quit buying due to the compleate lack of security, they might pay attention. Until then, not a chance. It has to make a difference in their profit statement to get more than lip service.
But they won't. They will release the same old crap like they always do. The first service pack will take about 6 months, and it won't fix half the security holes, just like normal.
How does M$ con everyone into paying them to be beta testers?
What you need to do is forward all of them to uce@ftc.gov. If you live in the US, let your taxes work for you. They have filed charges against some spammers.
Ruttans record is sectacular. The nay sayers here forget that all the supposed experts thought he couldn't fly aroubd the world non-stop and without refueling. He succeeded, with a good team that won't believe you can't do it.
Remember Alan Shepards Mercury flight was about the same as this one.
In most large companies with their own programmers, when a program is needed to do a specific funtion, they look at their old code to see if something comes close and then modify it as needed. This saves much time and $. If something is already there just use it if it works, save debugging and writing time.
But this is pre-existing company code, not from a personel library. Many do keep a personel library of generic modules that can be assembled to do many things in many ways. None of this would be considered proprietery IP by anyone. Although I'm sure some companies and Universities would try. There are only x number of ways to do any function in any language. Similarities will abound between programs that do the same thing, written in the same language. You can't avoid it.
Like I don't? Thats just being a good person and has nothing to do with politics.
You asked? I thought most people were smart enough to understand what they read in the sig.
brainless according to the sig.
Probably because it's true.
They don't mention a lifetime ban on ever using a computer again, along with confiscation of all computer hardware on conviction.

They are the original spy-ware. They can be used to track your surfing.
Think of the length of time it lasts. They are taxing cars like houses or land. Not like items that wear out and get replaced every 8 - 10 years.
The revolution will come when they try to tax sex.
Someone mod the parent up!

Then don't use it. It's really simple.

They could, but until there is finacial reason, they won't. It's all about money, no morals allowed.
