    Based solely on performance: Does anyone want the morons in Washington to have a say in your health care? That is one scary thought and very appropriate on Halloween.

    Remember, I have renamed Congress the "Thundering Herd of Dumbass" for a reason (19% approval rating shows I'm not alone).

    I will vote for McCain.
    I don't trust the Dems not to raise taxes on everyone. Obama already said Social Security was going up, that's a tax increase on all working people. Every time the Dems have said they were going to raise taxes on the "rich" in the last 36 years (my working life), my taxes have gone up. I have yet to make $50K in a year. The last thing this country needs is having the top 3 spots in the hands of Obama, Reed, and Pelosi, I have trouble imagining anything worse.

    Has the person who wrote this been within a thousand miles of the ocean? Anyone that has been to sea during a storm would have to laugh themselves into a coma at the thought of this idea. If you have seen big waves from the beach you know it aint gonna happen. The thought of diverting a wave is an interesting concept but the unintended consequences would be massive.

    Wake me up!

    Does anyone believe that the Truman, Enterprise, and Roosevelt have been in the same place for the last 3 years? Yet the are tied up at piers 11 & 12 with the Big E in a serious upkeep.
    Pier 22
    Same 4 Submarines
    Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock
    2 more Nimitz class carriers, one in drydock (overhaul/new construction) and one tied to the pier fitting out after launching/overhaul.

    Google has not changed these pictures since google maps added the satellite view.

    Clinton balanced the budget but gutting the military and cutting the intelligence budget by more than 30%. That is where all of his surplus came from.

    Wonder who gets the blame for the intelligence failures of 2000 - 2004?
