    Most organizations don't have resources to hold a fall back copy of their production server(s)

  9. Just a side comment. Neutron stars do change pulse times. Not often but often enough that a GPS system will need error handling code for one "missing" signal.

    I didn't see anything in the article or responses about countermeasures.

    Our soldiers (and automatons) will be beacons. All the foe needs to do is build (radio silent) drones that target any radio signal. Of course, more sophisticated versions will target, say, tanks or GIs based on the signal mix. The list of "improvements" is long, given such a target rich environment.

    The shift is now in the monetisation stage. Everyone was excited when aniline dye was invented (see Synthetic dye.) They were expensive and rare. More dyes followed and now you can choose from the whole Pantone pallet.

    Do we really need rooms in 100,000 colors?

    Do we really need iPhone 12? Samsung 15?

    Be patient, another shift is coming

    1 All of the groups lists (and probably ALL legal groups) want to proselytize so they need to push into our nice friendly vanilla spaces
