He doesnt care if his work gets painted over, he's not the one who complains. And the reason he is so secretive and reclusive is so he can continue to go around illegally doing all this.
no one in complaining, they are just laughing at Melbourne for losing $0.5M worth of art because they wanted to get rid of graffiti.
None of those are done by a judge, which is what people are unsure of as being allowed.
re: driving ban - its one by NASCAR or antoher governing body, not a judge.
re: gov't - it again that you are, for example, guity of a felony or do something illegal. THAT precludes you from some civil service. But can a judge straight out rule: you cannot be in government.
as I will admit I dont know the answer, I just dont think your examples prove anything in response to this issue.
The point is: the court cant say, "you cant be a sysadmin for X years", but they can say, "you cant use a computer for X years"
Like a pedophile being told he cant work with children, means he cant be a teacher, but I dont think the court cant say, "you are not allowed to be a teacher".
Kickoffs are caught in it. Passes are thrown into it. Field Goals are run back for touchdowns from it. And the defense uses it during a goal line stand.
Yeah, I'm also pretty sure if they just let the trees grow instead of cutting them down they would increase CO2 absorption and reduce emission as explained in the above post
The governement cant always stop people (or itself) from breaking the law, but the law should still apply equally to both.
In both examples you gave, if the governement was held responsible (or the people in gov't who caused it to happen) in the same way that individuals were, it would not reflect negatively on us Americans. The issue here is what to do about the law.
In another unrelated point, I believe this does not relate to the Lotto, but rather to gambling games which many people responsibly enjoy, whether winning or losing money. No one is saying to make alcohol illegal because some people become alcoholics.
or just give the manuals to anyone for free online, and allow them to download the PDF....I dont think they lose money if you learn that button 1 + button 2 = a kick/punch combo. (as has been said they will save enough money from the cost of the paper/ink alone that they can put a few more hours into improving games.
so have it online - or sell a physical book that goes with the game to people who are that obsessed with the particular game.
Many DVD's have just one leaf in there as a "manual, description" often full of ads, even that is unnecessary.
And the box itself should have artwork if you are in such dire need.
I question their motives but I think its a good move to remove unnecessary fat from the product.
a very poor definition of art. I have seen many installations that respond to the watcher.
There was a great one at the MOMA in NYC where you walked down a hallway and the projection changed from a springtime scene to one of fall/death/winter/armgeddon like landscape as you moved.
This work is nothing more than an interactive game with no way to win (this is the point I think he gets caught up on, a game must have a way to win, and points, etc). The difference between this work of art and a more complicated game is the context (in a museum) and the limited play (all you can do is make it run fowards or backwards in "time").
I respect his views, but I think he needs to play some games and experience some art outside of film (a form of art I DO think games are approaching)
Its 12-y/o technology. I dont love microsoft products but the fact that people are hating on a 12-y/o product in comparison to a 1month old one is ridiculous.
Computers become obsolete while they are getting shipped, so 12-years is ages in technology.
so chillax
Even if he is guaranteed to lose, what teacher wants to go through all the craziness of a legal case, not to mention the potential costs for the school/teacher.
Its ridiculous bullying.
Sending money via the mail system is not legal (in the US, maybe it is in Finland,...and I'm sure people will jump on me if I'm wrong).
And if you read the article it IS and opt-in only program, they aren't forcing anyone to do it.
now available in SEC and Senator flavors.

I agree if the alternative is to turn the place into a parking lot, then they are the greenest company I know of.

So, as long as its an individual person or company who is ruining someone's life its OK. It just shouldn't be Big Brother.
If its good enough for one, it should be good enough for the other (or not allowed for either)
It was actually Trey and Matt flying the planes.....but they had an ejector seat
