Back in my day we used man. No panzy ass html. We also had a stack of floppy disks to install slackware off of. The first distro I ever used and still my favorite. Yes they were 720k disks.
I certainly hope they dont, the blue glare coming from the T.V at random intervals would drive me fucking nuts.
Not to mention the slow down as your xbox gets compleatly infested with spyware and virii. Does this mean I have to purchase virus software for my console?
When traveling at the speed of light, would you experience time subjectivly so it would feel as if minutes had passed in seconds? Would you not need some sort of theoretic device / field, that would allow you to stay together and keep your molocules from travelling at different speeds?
Exactly. In content something happens, your books remind me of a Windows Xp For dummies guide. 5 pages of content to 150 of fluff. Not that I know hoe many pages are in said manual. Or have I ever read said manual. Nor would I ever read said manual. Serously though I enjoy the story's even If I skip 10 pages at a time.
I think Tad Williams may be intrested in this. And if you are reading this Tad, try fitting a story into less then 700 pages sometime. I may stay intrested that way.
I think they should award territory to the group that occupies it, and only like 100 km sqared.America wants a chunk of the moon they should have to squat there for 6 months or 1 year...
I would consider piggy backed systems in you case, cluster type server have one server monitor the other. If one goes down alert the ?local? tech staff or alert someone... if you want immediate reporting you can have it jump onto the GSM / TDMA network and have it start blastings sms text messages to your wireless phone.
If you are using a realtime link you can just have it alert through the NOC.
I will probably look back on this in 5 years and be like, "That was a moronic thing to say". But I think it would be an intresting concept if the whole network would share cpu cycles. Kind of a communist state of process, especially if storage was distributed as well, everything running asynch in one giant mass of processing power. The whole internet hundreds of millions of cpu's running ASMP, Crypto would be dead.. Sounds like fun to me.
Like I said though I will probably look back and call myself a moron, I mean I used to support redhat... lol.
2 words.
Fuck That!
Does it also list tommorrows stock market stats today? It might be worth it.
It was once a what? lol. It has allways been this way. Some people thought it would be comedic to whine about the old days.
I choked when I bought my fx5500 for 139 CND. my Pc is not worth $1000 any more.
One question though, when can I buy a P.C based on this technology. Fuck this console garbage.

Are they including the grappling hook again? I loved that mod for quake 1. Better yet just remake quake 1.

Wow. This may be a good reason to not use Debian.
Instead of suing this very smart individual... Pay him. He knows more about what you are doing then you do.
I thinkn the reason alot of drug users will not use I.M I.V drugs is due to a fear of needles, I feel this would be a very bad idea.

You blame the new hire. If there is more than one new hire you blame the one that spends his waking life playing everquest or .
As for preventitive mesures, you put the new hire in charge of the task and sit back and relax.
1st rule of managment is misdirection.
Can you not see the problem with this statement.. how does vnc work?
Am waiting for china to step up the the plate and setup a world government.
You would never be able to use the excuse that you lost her phone number after a one night stand.

seeing this is slashdot though and the chance of a one night stand is * 0 bring it on!
Do you have a list of non-rickity hosting =)
Would not quantum networking allow instant transfer of information no matter the distance between systems? Or am I mixing fantasy and reality again?
Usually that only happens in bed.. And I get smacked for it!
