When is someone going to worry about racial equality in the NBA?
Yes, you say, a dumb question. But no more ludicrous than the one discussed in this article.
Put all of the tax and spend liberals together with the Hollywood airheads. Allow the rest of the state political representation, which they presently do not have.
This article has nothing to do with the pros and cons of ACA, but everything to do with someone raised in the MS culture being in charge of the computer program that is the gateway to health coverage. And we all know how bad MS is at delivering good, stable, error-free products.
YGBSM! MS is the poster child for bad code. MS develops products, does v and v to the extent necessary to allow the product to be marketed, then waits on users to find the bugs. Very cost effective. Do you want someone with this background in charge of the computer program behind 0care? I don't. The issue is not the pretty GUI on Healthcare.gov, it is the coding that connects the government and industry databases together, the coding that securely protects private information, the coding that makes sure Americans are getting the health care we signed up for. This is a joke.
Ethanol in gasoline is one of the biggest hoaxes foisted on the American public in many years. Destruction of fuel systems and engines, especially small gas engines, lower mpg/higher driving costs. Not to mention the diversion of corn away from food and the cultivation of poor quality farmland for more corn. If people want ethanol in their gas, then let the marketplace decide. Label pumps with blends, charge a per gallon price that reflects the market, and let people buy what they prefer.
Bummer. I see cars running red lights almost daily. They deserve a ticket. What is needed are standard rules for implementing, rules known to citizens. For example, what is the definition of an intersection? What is the delay time between red and then green in the cross direction, and what is the length of yellow light time vs. speed limit? Does a car get a ticket if it is in the intersection when the light turns red, or only if entering the intersection after red? I support cameras if used to deter accidents, but not as a means of balancing the local budget.
There appears to be a lot of paranoid people on this site, paranoid about our own government. They should worry about the ChiComs and the other states that can take down our infrastructure, easily.
Not sure I understand this, but my XP machine works well, no reboots required, runs fast. Until I get a notice that updates are available. Then it slows down, and starts giving me errors. I have to stop what I am working on, do a reboot, which installs the updates, takes a long time. After the reboot, the machine works fine. I have suspected MS sets a switch in XP forcing my machine to misbehave, so I will be forced to install the updates. I understand the need for updates, but I want to do them at a time convenient for me, say at the end of the day.
What is the light output of the Cree 60w equivalent? The Lumens? In many cases you must buy a higher wattage bulb, say the Cree 75, to get the same amount of light.
I just bought a few 60w bulbs. I looked at "replacements" such as halogens. In most cases, the lumens for the replacements are lower than the incandescents.
Buyer beware.
A friend of mine is one-quarter Irish, one-quarter Black, one-quarter American Indian, and one-quarter spanish. What does he call himself?
An American. Enough said.
A New Yorker once told me, a country boy, that I was not pronouncing my name properly. I told him I could spell it "Smith" and pronounce it "Brown" if I wanted to, since it is my name. So an editor telling Rowling how to pronounce her name would appear to be an overbearing idiot.
True story: I bought a Camry with the Nav system. Tried to use voice commands, but it would not recognize my commands. Not sure why; too much car noise, not the correct phrases, what ever. Finally, in frustration, I said, very loudly: "Fuck You." The system responded, "Shutting Down," and turned itself off.
The bible is full of information that was there for health reasons, such as shellfish and pork. That have become dogma for several religions. And in today's world, make no sense.
Atlas Shrugged. And then The Fountainhead. Two book that tell us it is OK to stand up for your principles.

The $34B is the tax for the bridge troll. The feds collect taxes, pull off 10_20% for overhead, send the rest back.

Why are they ignoring a large part of the market by releasing only to iTunes?

Some of my vehicles and small gas engine equipment cannot tolerate any ethanol. The blend wall for them is zero ethanol.

Remember, this a town that elected a socialist to city council. Nothing rational in Seattle.
Progressive is owned by a liberal, so it would be consistent that Progressive would want to monitor, and control, your every move.
