I started programming when I was about 4 or 5 on the brand new Sinclair ZX81, moved on to the Commodore 64 doing BASIC and then 6502 assembler, then Amiga 68000 assembler and a bit of C and eventually moving on to Java and C# on PCs. The key thing, however, is that I never did a single programming course in my life. It was all self-taught and done in my spare time because I enjoyed it. I still program as a career all these years later.
The moral of the story is, you don't need to be taught to code - if you enjoy it, you'll do it anyway.
FYI, Chrome has its own 'task manager' built in which DOES show you the tab name next to each process so you can easily end the process you want to. Also, if one locks up, it tends to notice anyway and asks you if you want to kill it.
As for your comment "Don't open a tab that's going to lock up your browser.", well, you don't know what it's going to do til you open it, do you? And if you're a developer, sometimes you do stuff which gets you stuck in loops or whatever and need to kill the process.

You leave a light on at the front of your house, and somebody uses that light to read the time on their watch.
This is EXACTLY the same as using somebody else's wi-fi. It doesn't affect you unless they start doing something illegal with it. The difference made to your connection speed is likely to be minimal.
I have used it on and off for the past month or two and basically it's rubbish. It's got more dodgy files on it than Kazaa has, although the fact that people can 'rate' files and comment on them means you don't end up downloading them that often. However, download speeds are just so slow, it's not worth the effort.
My advice is just to BUY the DVD you were going to rip off. That has the extra advantage of being legal.
Or if it's just short porn AVIs you're after, then it's great!
Surely if you hold down one number for a bit longer, or leave a shorter/longer gap between some of the numbers, this doesn't exactly match what they've copyrighted which means it's ok!

Apparently, err, allegedly, a friend of a friend of mine sniffed a few Exchange server packets to see what was going on, and, although he has absolutely no experience in sniffing (he just fancied a quick sniff) he says the 'protocol' seems to have been made deliberately STUPIDLY complicated, using a mixture of NetBIOS and TCP/IP, and seemingly random TCP ports for every packet.
You never know, maybe M$ will open this protocol as they did Kerberos:)

This DLL sits in one of the Frontpage server extensions folders so you would have to asume it's something to do with Frontpage. If you scroll through the DLL a bit further, you get some stuff about it being part of "Microsoft Design Tool", whatever that is. Anyway, everybody knew the Frontpage server extensions were completely insecure.

Why not just capture the video in 320x200 res, and then 'enhance' it back in Washington?
Personally, I LOVE the tabs being right at the top. ok, so it's non-standard, but it gives you that bit extra screen real-estate.
Last time I saw Firefox, you were half way down the screen before you even GOT to the tabs, let alone the page content.

Crikey, that's awful. The whole browser freezes up for 5-10 seconds while the site is built up in Javascript. There's another reason for not using it.
