    However the more interactivity that is called for, the less useful they are. When you get to content creation, and by this I mean even simple things like writing an e-mail, they are not very good.

    Depends on the type of content you want to create. There are pretty nice "virtual instruments UI layouts" (harmonic tables, janko keyboard emulator etc.) for tablets. Multi touch is pretty useful in music, while the standard computer keyboard can only handle max 4-5 simultaneous keypresses. They're a low-cost alternative for Haken Continuum pads as well.
    So these tablets offer a reconfigureable interface for music instruments, which is unprecedented in history.

    1, Still after the death of Stalin the personality cult started to center about the new leaders (it did in Hungary e.g.) Krushev failed to reform the system.
    2, Holomodor was a man made "catastrophe" (genocide, if you like it better that way), it didn't have anything to do with the stock market crash, so I don't see a reason to dismiss it, even when it was in the '30ies.

    And this is the reason I use both FF and Chrome. However copy-paste doesn't always work with Chrome, especially with Slashdot.

    Where I live vocational work will get you minimal wage ($400 a month; I have two masons in the family), and all foreign companies require Bsc. That's Hungary, Eastern-Europe. And tuition is free. (for 9 semesters for a Bsc degree; going to masters you get 4 additional free semesters)
