    My point is that because the prohibition of interracial marriage was a mistake, it's not automatically a mistake to prohibit marriage on some other basis.

    It's as much a non-sequiter as claiming that since it was a mistake for government to allow slavery, then it's also a mistake for government to allow anything else.

    This works for taking stereo pictures of non-moving scenes:

    1) take a picture.
    2) move your camera a couple inches to the right.
    3) take another picture.
    4) use photo manipulation software to join the two pictures together.
    5) resize as appropriate.

    What I'd like to know is who's the asshole that designed the functionality into JavaScript that allows it to take control of stuff that it has no business taking control of, such as window decorations, URL bar, status bar, right click menu, etc.

    The fact that certain behaviors among animals can be observed in nature doesn't imply any moral (or amoral) imperative among humans. There are lots of things animals do that no one would consider OK for humans to do.
