Interesting. So the effect of cloud seeding is just as likely to be caused by the planes flying through the clouds rather than the silver iodide alone?
The e-reader will probably cost in the $500 range to cover cost. Each "book" will still cost $200 and will have to be bought again the next semester. Bookstores themselves most likely will not carry these unless they get a percentage of each reader and "book" sold because they will lose out on the used book sales.
I agree. The card used in the demo was likely a prototype and couldn't be shown. The card in the pictures looks more like of a very rough mock up intended to give an idea of what the actual card will look like when it is in production. TFA makes much ado about nothing.
That's just a matter of getting past the unfamiliarity of the OS program.
Its not unfamiliarity with the OS program, per se. I tend to use open source programs than not. It seems that some programs are written with how the programmer(s) want or think the program should behave rather than adjusting that user interface for the End User. It is the End user that drives program adoption. It does not matter if the program is Open or Closed source. If the End User cannot intuitively figure out how to use that program then that program will be dropped.
For me it really wasn't about the lack of features. It was more on how easy it was to use as program. You have Feature X,Y, and Z on there, but if I have to navigate Menus A, B, C, and D to find that feature then I will not use that program.
Aren't electric sheep the objects androids dream about?
I thought Poseidon was the name of a cruise ship
Make that 640k atoms
Nah, Visual Basic is more like straight grain alcohol. It can really mess a computer up.
Then we nuke him from orbit, only way to be sure.

Those stripes are probably an artifact from the screen being rolled up. That should be ironed out if/when the screen goes into production.
Is that you Steve Ballmer?
I have ADD and NASA TV can capture my attention for hours.
The benzene molecule is trapped between the contacts, so its not likely to break free and evaporate any time soon.
Still better than Windows ME.
Except in Soviet Russia.
I, for one, welcome our delicious, self-propelling into mouths, bacon overlords.

A billion is more than a million, genius.
NASA needs some extra funding to implement the changes and therefore has to ask Congress very, very nicely.
So, is the economy or global warming treated as a perfect sphere?
Is the world going to end now that Microsoft has released Open Source code?
Did anyone else read this in the voice of James Lipton, the host of Inside the Actor's Studio?
Can you dig it?
This just goes to shows you how good Windows emulation on Linux is.
What about the Galactic Barrier?
