if they have a untethered jailbreak for 5.0 I may upgrade. but I have a iPod 3rd generation 32 gig model and there's no real new feature I'd want in 5.0

So I moved to a host in amsterdam who told me they do not agree, abide or listen to US laws regarding DMCA when it comes to linking as long as I'm not hosting which was good enough for me.
Now I get tons of spam whining and begging me to remove links... which I just laugh instead of going after the hosts they try to stop me from linking which they can't now.

I graduated college in 1995, and even then you were not allowed to bring a laptop to class, unless it was for your class, since I was a computer science major, which I got my associates degree as. But my core subjects, math/english/science laptops weren't allowed, and only basic calculators in the mathmatics classes. I remember professor made it very clear only old style calculators would be allowed, everything had to be worked out on paper and work shown and no graphing calcs or laptops could be used.
But even a decade later look at schools now, ipads in kindergarten? that's stupid waste of money, and would be a waste of money at any grade level unless it's computer specific classes such as college computer science, microcomputer specialist, or the multitude of programming classes that one could be required.
But yea, learning it first before relying on computers in normal subjects will always be better, and which is why private schools that don't allow such devices usually average higher test scores, at least going by Georgia and Florida Dept of Education sources.

There are no legit rom sellers as the companies folded years ago, too hard to track down each split up company to aquire any legal licensing or whatnot. So the entire emulator/rom industry other than small amount of free ones are all done via pirating.
We have 3 arcade machines in our office that use pirated roms and takes quarters, so it has that nice retro feel, plus acts as a piggy bank of sorts, There was no way to do it legally, so we pirated the roms and each machine has 25 roms on it.
just suck it up and download them like everyone else in the world does and stop trying to act like it's some holier than thou or morally right.

The is nothing new. Second Life has been doing this for years. Their system allows media to be set, movies from full length to YouTube can be streamed on a "Prim" in world so that all avatars can sit and watch the movies/videos at the same time as a "virtual date" of sorts and more.
I could see Linden Labs fighting this is they wanted to. regardless of what people think of Second Life they've already done this for several years.
Thankfully to the jailbreak community the author is still making the app available.
