I used to do it myself once around late TBC and early Wrath and got myself around 100k before getting bored of it on one of the fullest servers in EU. It's one of the realities of free market that you won't find in speeches. The risks and costs are simply too high and have a potential of failure > no large free market option available even if success is very profitable.
