The three-C model was my ultimate choice. The five- and six-D models tear themselves up from the inertia of the cell stack. The other guys thought that three Cs lacked tonk factor, but I compensated by being much more of a baddass. The six-D and the Mag-charger can also throw a pretty dazzling beam, which is sometimes a viable tool.
What's the state of the art on 60Hz noise? I find fluorescents unacceptable if I'm recording the sound outa my Super Beatle. (It kicks out plenty of weirdness on its own, thankyou). I don't want to put Humbuckers on the Frankencaster, and maybe modern amps have better shielding, but I use incandescents in my studio because of this; They are not devoid of merit. BTW I'm pretty sure it's psychosomatic, but I find I get headaches if I don't keep my monitor's refresh @90Hz or more, maybe that explains why the tinfoil doesn't help those CFL whingers.
I helped build the stage for the Rose Bowl show. One guy slipped on frost and bounced down 60 feet of scaffolding (think Homer Simpson) then got up and went back to work. People wonder why I laugh when I hear an Eagles song.
"Well that's just like, your opinion... Strangely enough, presstv.ir has a FOX related article at the top of their front page right now. I especially enjoy their comments section, they cater to the Persian version of the same demographic of ignorant haters, and so far, none of my comments have espoused enough hate or ignorance to make it past their moderators.
Those are not even the tip of the iceberg; I follow at least three dozen or so sites. The point is to even out the bias: some of the most biased ones are actually painful to read. BTW AlJazeera covers world news fairly well, not quite BBC, but as good as Reuters IMO.
I try to use opposing viewpoints to extract a fair and balanced view of current events. Haaretz/AlJazeera/BBC/VOA... curiously, FOX doesn't actually fit in with this approach.
The Porsche had an electric hub motor on each wheel, so they don't consider it to be in the same class as the single-engine 4wd cars. According to the Dutch Wiki page, the Spyker had a production model that was reduced to 50hp, but it didn't sell well due to its high price.
"The first four-wheel drive car, as well as hill-climb racer, with internal combustion engine, the Spyker 60 H.P., was presented in 1903 by Dutch brothers Jacobus and Hendrik-Jan Spijker of Amsterdam." The Wiki entry does not appear to be unclear.
"Hauling speaker cabinets is a bitch." YMMV on that, I throw Ampeg SVT cabinets over my shoulder and carry them so that the wheels don't get damaged by rough terrain. (Mostly puny) Musicians seem impressed by this, although the boxes weigh less than 300#. The only time I ever did any 18-hour days was setting up the Rose Bowl for the "Hell Freezes Over" Tour. All anyone cried about was how fucking cold it was, (Pasadena had definitely frozen over;) And only the rookies did that.
If the ISPs don't prevent it then some one in government might decide that it should be illegal to litter people's inboxes with unwanted emails. Then where will your precious online freedoms be? I support free speech, but draw the line at folks with megaphones following me into my front door.
You must be new here.
If you read the report, it says residential use went down 1.55%. That may not be due to lamp replacement, but it shows a good trend may be developing.

I think you got that backwards, Son.
I never saw any of her "early work", but I think Traci Lords is kinda hot.

You've got to repeat that three times and tap the heels of the Ruby Slippers together.

I just laugh. I haven't had to reformat the drive even once since I obscured IE.

According to the respondents in the report, less than 75% of the ISPs even forbid spamming in their Terms & Conditions. Dismaying news, IMO.
"you must be new here. (here being any modern, western society)"
I get that a lot.
Justice!
I spit my doobie onto the cat, who then knocked over my coffee, when I read that. Well played, sir.
I have done some consulting work.
