    Hi,

I made a little ruby-script (my first!), which achieves something like that.
It's far from perfect, but works for me.
    download it here

The archive containt a procmailrc, because i'm invoking it via an extra email-address. you will need ripmime

The script uses the vcard-Class from ruby-lang.org, which is included in the archive.

The -sN Option will not work against Windows-systems, which are the target audience for this scan.

    see nmap-manpage:
The Null scan turns off all flags. Unfortunately Microsoft (like usual) decided to completely ignore the standard and do things their own way. Thus this scan type will not work against systems running Windows95/NT. On the positive side, this is a good way to distinguish between the two platforms. If the scan finds open ports, you know the machine is not a Windows box.

  6. Re:Deep Fritz on Slashback: Dilemma, Privacy, Chess · · Score: 1

Face it, the absolute biggest advantage is the fact that Kramnik got a copy of Fritz to play with and Fritz doesn't have a copy of Kramnik to play with. With a computer, you don't just have access to your opponent's playing style; you can keep trying minor variations of the same line until you find one where the computer consistently makes a mistake (I wonder how much randomness there is in Fritz's move selection algorithm). I wonder if the unusual choice of openings was an attempt to avoid lines that Kramnik might have prepared for in this manner.

But that's how the GMs play the game.
Your reviewing every game of your opponent before starting the match.
Fritz database has every game of Kramnik stored and the copy of Fritz that Kramnik had, is not the same as in the Bahrain-Match. The were allowed to change the opening-database.
